Small campsite so all pitches were quite close to toilets, but plenty of room between pitches. Toilet/shower block was nice and clean.

Everything honestly. Really lovely site, very clean facilities, beautiful view. The owner of the site came round in the late evening and got people to quite down which we really appreciated as it drives us mad when there's people partying in a tent in the middle of the night on a campsite!
The little shop was sweet and fairly priced. Got a lovely coffee and some cold drinks on a boiling hot day so appreciated that.
The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Would definitely visit again!

It looked like the tent pitches were on a slight hill so think that could potentially be an issue for tenters. Wasn't an issue for us so more of just a heads up for people going with a tent during busy periods as not sure you could always guarantee a level site.
Honestly though the site really ticks the boxes.

Beautiful views from the site. Lovely, level hard pitch, with picnic bench on grass at side. Showers etc really clean. Friendly owners.

Absolutely nothing!

Pitches were a good size, location was great and fire pit for hire was excellent value and having a picnic table at the pitch was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly and even though weren’t generally very visible on site they were very quick to respond when contacted

Pitches were all pretty much on a slope, car parking was awkward and the facilities were ok but could have done with a deep clean

Toilets and shower very clean, beautiful scenery around campsite, very responsive owners when needing help. Really enjoyed our stay

This is a scenic little site in the Cheshire countryside. There are only a handful of pitches so the facilities are small, but we never had a long wait to use them. They were clean and well maintained.

The site is about a 40 minute walk from a local country pub, which was lovely. A little pricey, but worth it. It’s within driving distance to several quaint country villages with nice dog walks.

However, we would not visit this site again. The owner is incredibly sarcastic, as we should have known from the passive aggressive comments and incredibly extensive list of rules on the website.

We stayed as a family including a 1 year old. On our last night we had a fire pit and were having a few drinks, as we did every night of our stay. We did have some music playing. The owner came and asked us to turn the music down, which we did very respectfully, we hadn’t noticed the time. But then instead of leaving us to finish our drinks whilst the fire died down as we had told him we were going to do, he sat on a bench at the end of the pitch opposite and watched us. We asked if everything was alright as it felt very uncomfortable and awkward. He said he was waiting and watching as there was also another pitch making noise and that he could hear us from the house. I’m pretty certain he would not have been able to hear us from all the way back at the house as we would have had to have been very loud and I’m sure that would have woken the baby! If someone had complained to him via WhatsApp then I’m sorry, but tent walls are very thin, you can hear even whispers. But you shouldn’t expect the whole site to be silent, people often go camping to have some fun believe it or not.

The location and facilities were very good.

Lovely site, really clean and very well looked after.
The toilets and shower area was great, as was the dishwashing sinks.
They have a freezer for you to keep bit in too.
We met the resident cats who were very friendly
The fire pit is worth the money although heavy to put to your pitch there is always someone around who I am sure would help out.
The huge tree is amazing especially at night when they light it up

Only thing I can think of is when I was doing my dishes a man and his child brushed their teeth in the sink next to me ( meant for dishwashing) the bathroom sink was literally a few steps away and there was nobody in there, maybe a sign up saying dishwashing only, but thats just me being picky,, it was just a bit gross when people have to clean dishes in there ,, obviously no fault of the site though
