This place is amazing kids were fully entertained with the parks, swimming, tennis court and games room. We had an amazing stay despite the storm passing through, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The site is very clean and tidy all the kids enjoyed the pool it was lovely and warm for them and not to overcrowded most of the time.

Will definitely be coming back next year.

- Grass and lakes on the site are well maintained and cut regularly, very scenic. Ducks and ducklings are lovely daily visitors.
- Games room, tennis court and play areas kept tidy and fab for kids!
- Cafe on site has an amazing breakfast with a beautiful view of the fishing lake.
- EHU extensions are allowed to be borrowed from reception.
- The pitch we had was away from the main field and all other campers were respectful of noise and kept the site tidy.

We would definitely return so long as the hygiene problems improved, maybe during peak times it would benefit from more regular cleans and deep cleans as I feel it's being neglected a little which is such a shame when the site is beautiful everywhere else.

- Hygiene desperately needs improvement!
The sanitary bins were constantly overflowing throughout the day.
The showers need a proper deep clean! The tiles, floor and shower heads have lots of black mould which is a healthy hazard - especially when it's in the accessible/family room where those with breathing disabilities and young children like myself are using it.
The baby changing units safety strap has been broken off, is dirty, and heavily rusted, I personally wouldn't trust putting a baby on it.
I was unable to use the movable chair in the accessible room as it was heavily rusted and a health hazard (massive tetanus risk!) especially as it's a rough surface on the metal legs.
- The laundry room could do with being separated from the women's toilets and showers (the only way of accessing the washing machines, dryer and iron facilities) my partner didn't feel comfortable using them and other men also said they'd not either. I do however, appreciate that the ironing facilities are free to use!!

- Shower doors could be higher to the ceiling and/or lower to the floor as when there's a lot of teens messing around in the cubicles next to you, you feel very exposed (just a preference)
- Pitches need checking prior by staff for pegs, we struggled to remove broken rock pegs left behind by the previous campers. Also the ground had a few deep holes which caused a few twisted ankles.

What a lovely site, came with my 2 sisters and their family’s, we were pitched on the large pitches that had only 6 pitches in that area so kids could run freely and wasn’t worried about them running off. Toilets very clean showers nice and hot outdoor pool warm and not over crowded cafe food was a bit pricey but lovely food staff very friendly Wi-Fi very good 3 play areas games room lovely fishing lakes very clean beautiful sunsets site we absolutely loved it 🥰 would defo return.

Only thing we never liked was supermarket was 20 min drive away but has got garage/spar a 5 min drive away

We had a lovely stay at Manor Wood. The kids had plenty to do. Lots of park areas, the tennis court, play room, swimming pool.
No stress for the adults either with the shower rooms, laundry, dish washing facilties.
Everything you could possibly need as a family on holiday.
We will definitely be visiting Manor Wood again.

Facilities where perfect for our needs.
Swimming pool- very good booking system (only comment I have here is paperwork all says book morning of the day of your swim and wasn't informed you could booked reserved late times on arrival at 1pm- comment doesn't affect rating as we should have asked)
Cafe food was wonderful
Shower facilities clean and spacious- don't often see separation between shower and changing space which is great keeping clothes in a dry area.
Park was fantastic. My son who is 4 spend most of his time there.

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time at Manor wood! It’s truly a gem for families with young children. The site is safe, clean, and filled with some great outdoor activities including a tennis court, a fishing lake and a heated out door swimming pool. Our kids loved the well-maintained playground with the sand and the woodland walk which is great for dogs too!
All the staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The site also had plenty of family-friendly amenities, like clean restrooms, hot showers, and even separate rooms with a washing machine/dryer, a sink and a fridge and freezer! We especially appreciated the spacious pitches, allowing the kids to run around freely while we relaxed. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Manor wood to any family looking for a fun and stress-free camping experience!

The only dislike is the on-site cafe and shop are closed on Sunday’s which is understandable.

2 great parks for the kids, heated outside pool was brilliant. Nice food from the cafe. All staff very helpful and friendly.

This is a great family campsite, I went with my 5 children ages 1-13 and they all had an amazing time. The facilities were clean and everyone was so friendly, will definitely be going back.
