Lovely site that is well maintained, clean and family orientated. Fantastic facilities and in a beautiful setting.

It is one of the nicest places we have been its lovely and clean and all the staff are lovely and friendly and helpful we will definitely be returning.

Got stung buy a bee as we were parked right next to a tree full of bees next to the pool

We had a great time with the family, children did like the premisses.

The two taps in front of the lake could have a sink that would be very helpful.

Ducks & ducklings walking past in the morning, a few frogs jumping in our tent & a cows can be heard in other fields.
Nice wildlife walk around perimeter of site.
Friendly receptionist when booking in.
Camping area we pitched our tent on was behind a hedge, which gave us a sense of secluded ness, with a few other tents to the side, we really liked that.
Swimming pool was great.
Toilets & showers were clean & maintained.
Close to Chester & Wrexham so we could get out & about.
Highly recommend ‘Park in Past’ for kayaking & paddleboarding.
Shops 20 minutes away by car.
Site generally looks well kept.
Nice site if you prefer secluded ness, quietness & to get away from hustle & bustle.

The games room is old & games not maintained or working properly.
Small shop & cafe open between 9-4 when we were mainly off site, strange hours as when we were hungry cafe was closed, although food looks nice on menu, we never tried.
Again shop closed when we were about.
Some of the campers were not friendly, obviously this is no reflection on the site itself - just our first experience of unfriendliness whilst camping. Not just one camper but a few, no ‘good mornings’ or friendly chatter. We found this very strange as usually campers are quite friendly. My son also commented that some of the children would not play with him when he asked. Again no reflection on the site, just our personal experience.
Site was quiet for August during school holidays with a few pitches empty.

On arrival we was given our pitch number which we weren’t too sure about as we was on the top of a hill however it was perfect for our tent. The staff were lovely nothing were too much for them. They even walked to our pitch to give us an extension lead for the electric even after we was more than willing to go to the reception for it. Swimming was easy to book it was nice and due to the booking system it was quite empty which was nice. The cafe was nice we only got a small meal to take out but it was nice and quick, the staff were lovely. The pitches were not too close which was nice, the view was lovely overlooking the fishing lake. A nearby garage which sold everything you need only a 3 minute drive from the site. Clean showers and toilets which was nice. WiFi and signal was fine.

The only thing I could comment on was the cafe opening times as It shuts at 4 but wouldn’t put us off.

Friendliness of site, clean well kept area, a lot to keep children entertained, parks tennis courts walks all fabulous. On site restaurant served great food and a handy shop. A quiet place to stay with enough going on I recommend this site

The cafe and shop closed too early would be good to have an evening meal option through the stay

Brilliant play parks, good pitch size, heated outdoor pool, fab little cafe with pizza nights at the weekend.
Staff were very friendly and the newer toilet blocks were lovely and clean

Main toilet/shower facilities were beginning to get a bit dated and were often full of sand and water from the play park/pool but were cleaned well late morning

The staff were exceptional, travelling alone they helped me unhitch and level the caravan, could not fault Marcus, lovely chap.
Lots of clean facilities, nice pool and showers.
Disappointing the cafe/bar closed so early especially in high season on a bank holiday.
Only slight negative me were pitched next to the play area with a tent right behind us, was very, very noisy. We know for next time.

Good facilities and plenty to do on site. Tennis, outdoor heated pool, games room and parks for the kids. The staff we very friendly and helpful.

It would have been handy if the shop on site stocked a few more things, such as milk. There were a couple of parks for the kids and these were ok, but could have been better and the games room only had a few things in and the pool table had seen better days.
