Small site, big pitches, not overlooked. Good local canal walk, pub, vet and activities. Easy local buss, no: 55.

Showers hot morning and teatime but Luke warm late morning and late evening.

The site was lovely, welcoming and so clean and had a new feel to it, you could definitely tell it was kept well maintained and looked after. It was a pleasant place to stay. The children loved it here. I would most certainly return and have already recommended to others.

The site was very clean and tidy. It’s a quiet site, suitable for couples as there doesn’t seem much for children. Near to the restaurant/pub just up the road, and the farm shop nearby.
There are reviews regarding the road noise, which wasn’t that noticeable for us, although it’s not a user friendly road, simply due to the lack of footpath and the speed of drivers! Although this is not the fault of the campsite.
I would visit again, and would recommend it in fact, I would think it’s ideal for caravaners with access to a car.

Clean site easily accessible and handy for visiting lots of local activities the longlands hotel for food close by was great. Despite the busy road outside we had a great sleep

If I was to say anything it would be more showers and better lighting. I felt the trees up to the toilet block were in need of a trim you were almost soaked to get along the path in wet weather

Facilities clean and tidy.

Peaceful and tranquil it is not! Don't be fooled by the misleading website as I was. This site is on a busy noisy A road, separated from it by only a very high leylandii hedge. The day we arrived helicopter rides were flying from across the road and over the site all afternoon So not quiet at all. Plus the stench of aviation fuel was awful.
The pitches are tiny and we were cheek by jowl with the camper van and tent combo that parked next to us. Not even 2 metres between rigs which is bad for fire safety and lacks privacy. Wardens nowhere to be seen though they were clearly cleaning the amenities. My view from my caravan was a tall leylandii hedge through one window and straight into next door's tent through the other. I have a better view from my caravan when it's parked on my drive at home! And it is quieter. Best I can say is it is convenient for stunning Morecambe Bay.
I feel quite cross that the owners deliberately misled me via their website. Not quiet. Not tranquil. Not scenic. More a holding pen than a holiday park.

Dangerous road outside with noise 24/7. unable to have a safe walk to the pub/hotel farm shop 200 yards away due to no pavement and speeding traffic. Owners need to brief themselves with the law and CCTV usage on business premises. not sure how they get to cgarge £4.50 pn for a dog, felt like leaving sh1t behind to get my monies worth, and £11 for an awning. VERY expensive rip off, stayed 1 night of my booked 2 due to road noise and access to the local facilities. pods cramped together, far from private unless you book a group of 3/4. Everwhere else was booked up, yet this site was virtually empty---- says it all

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean site with easy hook up. Dog friendly, lovely view of sheep land and good wash facilities. This site is close enough to get anywhere you fancy and far enough out to get away from it all. You get the sense that the owners have a fun side and they just want you to have fun and relax. The wifi works and they even play smooth chill in the bathroom! Although we didn’t stay in a pod, they looked lovely and I’m already recommending them to friends.

The road main road in can be a little noisy at times but to be honest it didn’t bother us in the slightest, the sheep and lambs bleating in the morning were lovely to hear 🐑
