Location is amazing, very peaceful and tranquil area, with all the facilities you could need. There is a well presented male/female/disabled toilets with showers, a laundry room with dish cleaning facilities and proper waste disposal! The pitches are very generous in size and are ideal for families.

This is a really small quibble, and I guess to some it wouldn’t be an issue, but the male and female toilet blocks only have 2 toilets and one shower per block. Now it was quiet when we stayed here with only 4 of the 11 pitches occupied, and even with 4 pitches there was still over a hour wait to use the shower, so I can imagine that being a proper nightmare if the site was full with everyone using the shower. WiFi signal was also really poor, could not stream anything or maintain a connection

Lovely clean site, good security measures, plenty of hot water! Helpful wardens when needed. Farm shop, restaurant and pub within 5-10 minutes walk. Very handy for the motorway.

Beautiful little site yes there was road noise but once you got settled down you could switch off and just enjoy. Owners were very welcoming and helpful, facilities were all very clean. Farm shop over the road sold some lovely treats and meat from butchers counter was delicious. Pub on the corner was the perfect stop off for a well deserved drink after we had strolled along the canal to Carnforth (4 miles away) which was so peaceful and we only met a handful of people there and back which was ideal for our dog who loved jumping in and out of the canal to cool off. We will definitely be going back and our friends would all like to go also.

Very clean pod, friendly and helpful staff.
I had read reviews about road noise, but can't complain about it. We went out on early morning and came back late evening, making tired ourselves with all day activities. Maybe this was reason for deep sleep and not even heard road noises at night 😉

Lovely little sight. Clean & well maintained. Pitches level & reasonably spaced. Especially liked Smooth Chill piped in to toilet & washing up area. Washer & drier available at extra charge. WiFi free & pretty decent. Good base to explore surrounding area. Greenlands Farm just across road. Short walk to get on to canal for lots of other walks. Supermarkets short drive in Carnforth.
The Glamping Pods looked great!
The warden was very friendly & came to introduce himself & chatted when I saw him.
Self check in/out & information of how to contact warden etc clearly given on signage.

As previously mentioned in other reviews this sight is on a busy road, although large hedges try to shield the noise, it is constant.
There is a wind turbine on the hill across that for some reason was constantly squeaking. I did contemplate climbing it with some WD40!
Although I had to pay extra for my 2 dogs there was no real provisions for them, in the way of a dog walk or dog wash or anything to justify the charges.
Only 2 toilets & 1 shower in mens & ladies & 1 shower & toilet in accessible area. Although it wasn't for me as wasn't busy during my stay, this might be a problem when pitches get full?

Small site, big pitches, not overlooked. Good local canal walk, pub, vet and activities. Easy local buss, no: 55.

Showers hot morning and teatime but Luke warm late morning and late evening.

The site was lovely, welcoming and so clean and had a new feel to it, you could definitely tell it was kept well maintained and looked after. It was a pleasant place to stay. The children loved it here. I would most certainly return and have already recommended to others.
