Location is beautiful

Noisy no one managed the 10pm rule.
No marked pitches large tents were squashed on uneven surfaces while small tents took large spaces.
No cars are allowed on the field to unload. There were only two trolleys which were extremely heavy and made loading and unloading difficult and appeared nothing but awkward.
Toilets weren’t cleaned over our 3 day stay.
Swimming restrictions for children were ridiculous so a waste of a lot of money.

- No cars on the camping field
- Toilet and shower facilities best we have had camping
- Great location walkable to Grassington and also to a pub in Threshfield
- On site facilities were great

- Just one small thing would be great if there were some paper towels/hand dryer in campsite toilets.

Location, site and facilities, staff members really nice and helpful. Big field with loads of space for the amount of pitches they allow.

Price for 1 person seems a bit steep. Paying the same price as a group of 4 doesn't seem fair. Yes I paid it, because I wanted to stay here, a cheaper option for a solo camper would be a nice touch. Other than that, very nice site to stay if you're not on your own.

A nice location with good facilities including a play area and good sized, quiet pool. You have to book a slot for the pool, but it was very queit when we visited. There are good options for small children in the local areas, including Hesketh Farm Park in skipton (about 25 mins drive away).

When we arrived (Friday lunchtime) the toilet shower blocks for camping were very clean. However the amount of mud and grass accumulating showed they were not cleaned over the course of the weekend. There are 5 individual cubicles containing a shower, toilet, and sink. This may be a bit limited when the site is busier. The worst part was the on-site food at the cafe and Gamekeeper's Inn. When ordering take away pizza from the cafe, we were told they had run out of beef, goats cheese, peppers, onions, and sweet corn (most of the menu). The pizzas we received were then inedible with a completely burnt base and raw dough in the middle. In addition the toppings were embarrassingly poor and the pizzas were crammed into calzone boxes because they had run out of pizza boxes. We returned these and were given a full refund. This was all the result, we were told, due to the chef quitting and using agency staff. Perhaps they should not have opened at all. The staff at the cafe seemed disgruntled and embarrassed by the whole situation. Following this disappointment we went for food at the Gamekeeper's Inn. As two families together we ordered separately to the same table. We happened to order the same food (everyone had burgers) but the kitchen assumed, without double checking, this was a duplicated order coming through to the kitchen, so we only received half the food. After complaining and finding out what had happened, we eventually got our food and again a full refund. The biggest complaint here was the customer service where 2 people told us they were sorry but offered nothing more. Eventually a third, more senior member of staff offered a refund. In fairness we would have settled for a more sincere apology and a free drink. The staff however constantly complained it was not their fault and that it was hard to find staff to work on the site due to its location and minimum wage. While I appreciate their grievances it is also not fair for these to be put upon the customer trying to enjoy a trip away. This could all have been avoided with a quick run out to the table to double check the order without assuming.

A lovely quiet site with a nice bar/restaurant onsite. The best part was a back massage in the spa while the rest of the family packed away the tent!!
