Very nice, well organised site,helpful wardens. Lovely views and good walks either on the nearby canal or other paths. Llangollen is only about 25 mins walk and is also very pretty. Fully serviced pitch and onside fresh milk a bonus.

Pitches were substantial and spaced out. Level and full service (bar toilet waste) location was excellent. Warm showers.

Not enough toilets/showers people were often queing. We were very lucky as our part of the site was lovely and quiet. There was however a very large group in the tent area and they were loud and very messy in the showers (grass etc)

Great location, lovely welcome on arrival. Peaceful site. Good facilities.

The pitches are well spaced , toilets and showers were lovely and the site is flat and in a beautiful position with fantastic views.

Absolutely immaculate, from the gravelled pitches with grass beside and water and electricity on the pitch for personal use to all the facilities. Never seen such a well kept site in all my camping days.
The site had a lovely woodland walk into town just 20 mins away or a longer canal walk about 40 mins into town we did one on the way out and the other on the return and both were lovely for the dogs and us.
Llangollen is a beautiful town too well worth a visit with the best 2nd hand book store about a cafe on the Main Street.
The site was also peaceful despite being directly off an A road and set in a wonderful countryside surroundings. Reasonable price too!

Location location. Site was well sign posted in advance. Well done. Nice welcome. Level pitch not sat on top of each other. Very clean shower/toilets. Only 3 of each but I never queued. 2washing up facilities. No wifi on site or shop though you can get fresh milk from the milk hut paying with card it does
Milkshakes too and cakes. We didn't use the car as we were able to walk off site to Llangollen about 20 mins. Walk onto canal towpath. We walked to end of canal Horseshoe falls very pretty. We walked to pontcysyllte aqueduct and tonthe Castle ruins which you can see from site Castell Dinas bran. We had fully serviced pitch which saved time.

A shelf needed in shower for toiletries during showering please.

Beautiful site set in a wooded valley. Spacious pitches with good full services. The amenities block was spotlessly clean with hot showers in good sized cubicles. Although the main road was outside the site it is well screened with mature trees and we did not find any noise disturbance. The walk into Llangollen along the disused railway was an easy stroll which took us about 30 minutes - largely due to our dog sniffing most of the way!! Would certainly recommend this site.

I'm not sure what I am supposed to put here as your tips for writing a review says do not use for complaints. Perhaps technically it's not a complaint but my personal experience. On arrival I found the signage confusing. I came in off the road to the field where caravans were but could not see a check in. I telephoned the number and a lady answered saying she was by the gate and could not see me. I was by the gate too but then it became apparent that the first field was a caravan club and Landyn site was the next field inside. All it would have taken was a sign pointing you across the field. Check went well once we established where it was. Site clean and quite. The following morning when going to toilet block it was blocked off with a notice 'cleaning in progress' On looking on notice board it did say cleaning toilets at 10.30am It was 10.35am so I suppose it was my fault not reading the notice to see this was the case. We sat down on the bench outside and waited as we wanted to shower too. We waited ans waited, A tractor came with a vacuum tanker so one would assume there was a problem. One member of staff which I later found out to be the owner came back and fore past us a few times with out acknowledging us. We must have waited 20 minutes or more and I don't feel it was our place to ask if they had a problem or how long they were going to be. We decided to return back to our pitch without using the facilities and again no communication from the owner who clearly could see we were waiting 20+ minutes with our towels under our arms. The following day was our check out day and it did say you had to leave by 12.00mididay. I went up to the 'office' which was a mobile caravan to ask if there was any lee way in that time. The office was closed and a notice on the caravan said the office ours were 2-6pm. and if we wish to speak to anyone telephone the mobile number written on the notice on the side of the van. This I did do only to haver a recorded announcement saying if you wished to get in touch, please send an email.This didn't help me as I was wishing to ask as the site was far from full, could we possibly leave a little later as we wished to go into Llangollen to the shops.While I was by the 'office' someone else asked me how to get in touch with the owners, I said the mobile number was on the caravan. He said he'd tried it too and only got the answerphone , so he wasn't too happy either. Just then a young man came driving a pick up truck and I asked him was the 12.00 midday depart flexible. At the same time a man that the young man identified as the owner came in a van , pulled up along side the pick up truck and spoke to the young man , with out acknowledging me and went to drive off. The young man shouted at him to stop as I wished to speak to him. I said I know the check out is 12.00 midday and he quickly jumped in 'Yes 12.00midday' before I was able to carry on and say is there any lee way or is it 12.00 on the dot. He replied' Yes, 12.00 on the dot' abruptly. So I said it was just we were wishing to go to the shops before leaving and didn't want to have to park with the caravan. He did then say well if you leave the site you can park it in the next field. I did thank him for that and we did. Being in hospitality surely you have to be friendly and approachable ? This man showed no warmth or friendliness whatsoever.I certainly would not describe this man as welcoming and friendly and certainly did not know how to smile. So unfriendly and communication badly run not being able to contact anyone.
