Easy to find, nice, tidy pitch, lovely surroundings, walking distance to Llangollen.

No help on site after 8pm.

The location, facilities and space. We’d actually booked different dates but the lady was really kind and squeezed us in.

The site is misleading and we booked a caravan pitch so paid for one aswell. Couldn’t put the pegs for our tent in the ground and didn’t want to pay extra for hard ground pegs so we go put on an emergency pitch was away from the camp site which was great as my children enjoy playing with the other kids around, there was no drinking water tap close by and overall ruined the experience for us. Considering I paid £93 for 2 nights I would expect a little bit more than being thrown into a field which didn’t seems as safe as staying on the campsite. Even the warden said the site is very misleading so this must have happened numerous times, however our pitch we booked was sold on so seems the whole this is a way to make more money. Won’t be staying again and would recommend

The site was the best site we have stayed in when we have booked with Pitchup. Also it was within walking distance of Llangollen which is a Beautiful Town with loads going on.

Lovely site. Amenities were top notch. Clean toilet/shower block which was secure with code required for the doors. Power showers, with adjustable temperature which allowed my young kids to have "nice" showers whilst I could have great "scalding " shower to wake me up every morning.

Option to hire fire pit with wood supplied meant for nice family cuddles around the fire.

Site is right next to the path that takes you into Llangollen (approx 15-20min walk). Even my walking averse children did not moan on the walk - look out for the old steam train water pump, iron leaf and Berry sculpture and the tree trunk dragon.

Something to entertain kids on the site - basic park/swings would be useful.

Perhaps an improved path down to the river.

Lovely site, very well located. We parked up on arrival and walked everywhere during our stay.
Facilities were always very clean, and sufficient for the number of people staying, we never had to wait.
Staff pleasant and helpful.
Pitches are level and well maintained, as are the surrounding grounds.

Road is a little noisy, so best to be located in the centre or closer to the stream if possible.

The location is perfect, a short walk into Llangollen and beautiful views of the castle.
The toilets and showers were clean and in great condition. The firepits were solid and large enough for a decent fire. The boys (2 and 5) loved making s’mores.
Walking to get fresh milk from the vending machine was a nice touch too.

The all weather pitches, we asked to move to the field as we didn’t want to pitch our tent on the gravel.
The tent area was fully booked so we camped in the overflow field which was still nice.

Very well maintained site with good clean shower and toilet facilities. Milk station at the entrance is a nice idea and the visit from the ice cream van on Saturday afternoon made us all smile!
Lovely easy scenic walk into the town which is super quaint with lots of lovely bars and restaurants overlooking the river.

No dislikes at all. Could do with stocking more items in the onsite shop, however this is new and additional items are being added.

Great friendly site.

Big hardstanding serviced pitches clean toilets and showers good location for walkers and cyclists.
Most people we talked to said that they had visited before.
