We only stayed one night but before we even went to bed for the night we agreed we would happily come to this site again. It was a lovely quiet site nicely tucked out of the way. My little boys favourite bit was watching the ducks and doing cooking with daddy. The toilet facilities were not too far even when on the back part of the field and these were lovely and clean. I'm very glad we chose this site as the first place to take our boys (5y.o. and 3 months) camping. The price for the pitch was definitely a reasonable price for the middle of the summer season as well as it being Blackpool Airshow weekend. We also found that the phone signal in the area was brilliant which helped with our 5 year old who likes to watch a video before bed. Overall, a brilliant site which we will happily come to again!

It was a brilliant experience (despite the rain!!).
The campsite has a simple layout and easy to navigate. The toilets are clean and the washing area as well. We stayed for two nights and Rick (the host) was super helpful all the time we needed it! It was quiet and kids had fun. We will definitely return!

Straight away we were welcomed by the husband and wife owners of the site, showed to our pitch and explained where all the facilities were and the local points of inertest. Showers, toilets and washing up areas were alway kept very clean and tidy, even when the weather wasn’t brilliant!
Great little site, lovely quiet area, big field for any kids to play in, and a massive 90m outdoor air rifle and archery range for which I took advantage of!

Friendly owners, children loved that there were resident ducks and horses in the adjacent field.

Rick and Vic were absolutely lovely and made us feel so welcomed! The site is new so still having some bits done to it but this didn't affect our stay at all. The field was perfectly flat for pitching up and we even had some ducks that my daughter loved feeding by the water every day. We done archery with Rick which we both really enjoyed then went out for dinner to a pub which was only a 5 minute drive. The site doesn't have WiFi but my phone had full signal so my internet worked fine. The bathroom and showers were spotless and maintained regularly also it's a £1 for the showers not £2 as advertised on here. Although the campsite is set back and lovely and quiet it's a really convenient location as there is shops, pubs and cafes really close by and Blackpool was about a 20 minute drive so we had a day out there aswell. We really enjoyed our stay and already booking to return :)

Very helpfull owners at this site our first time out in the motorhome so was very good to get advice. No hook up at this site yet. But showers,toilets and washing area. We thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful night here

We did our research and got what we asked for. Nice place. Showers were clean, same as the toilets. When you go camping it's the basics. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The owner was really helpful and friendly. Would go again.

The owner Rick was very friendly and helpful. Was often seen chatting to and checking in with guests. We loved the friendly ducks too.

Facilities very basic.
Potwash had only cold water not suitable for washing dishes.
Toilets adequate but the ladies bathroom floor was worryingly spongey.
Didn't use the showers so can't comment although another camper said they weren't working.
Poor signage meant we drove in the wrong way through a disused, derelict looking farm.
Not really a "Leisure Park" as described. The owners have side businesses on site (shooting/archery and beauty) but they are very out of place and it's a bit of a stretch to describe it like that.
That said, the site has only been open a short time so I guess it's a work in progress. Just don't go with any sort of expectations.
