I'm glad to hear that overall you enjoyed your stay and would return. My site has some undulations but there are lots of level areas to pitch a tent or caravan and for children to play. Unfortunately because the new shower facility is a wet room, the floor will be damp after use . I do try my best to keep the floor clean but obviously it is in use all day with people coming in and out straight off the field. On Pitch Up it does mention that the charge for shower is £1 . It was necessary to implement this charge to prevent people spending too long in the shower and maybe causing a queue. This so far appears to work well. I will ask Pitch Up if they can alter the wording re camp fires to clarify that bbq's and fire pits are OK as long as they are well clear of the grass to avoid unsightly scorching.
