The electric kept going off at night everyone complained then it stopped going off.
Was going to charge us an extra £10 fee for arriving after 7 pm which we had already discussed we would be late.
We paid for an extra car £8 but was told that we didn’t have to pay extra for a tow car but wouldn’t refund the money

Location, good base for visiting places of interest.
Pitches are a good size, although can be quite close together, toilets & showers very good.
Owners very helpful and informative, we didn't need any help but got the impression nothing would be too much trouble for them.

Noise from main road passing site was 24 hours, being light sleepers this caused serious issues. Cut our visit short as we weren't sleeping.

Electricity supply very poor. Rated at 6A but several times ours tripped with only kettle on, one night the whole EHU seemed to trip during the night.

Great service and facilities along with a nice location.

The staff were very friendly and willing to ask any questions that we had. The pitches were well looked after and the location was ideal as we were so close to the road and local facilities.

There were a couple of occasions where the hot water ran out but when we told the staff, they tried to rectify this asap.

1st time out in our Caravan. I was a little concerned about a grass pitch and the weather forecast so I contacted the site to see if there was anything they could do to help. I can not thank them enough. Warm welcome, escorted to a perfect pitch, easy to park and flat. Offered assistance if required and we had a great 2 nights learning how things worked. Site very clean and although I didn't use the facilities my husband said they were perfect. Thank you.

There are a couple of nice pubs and a bus stop about half a mile away and an Aldi and Costa next door.

The site was crowded and very noisy (road noise and large groups partying). There were insufficient toilets (3 female/3 male) and showers (2 female/ 2 male) given that the site was packed fr the easter weekend, with caravans pitched on every available spot, including the reception parking area. One camping pitch had 6 cars and 4 tents. When we arrived a car was partially blocking our pitch, but staff did nothing to assist as they didn't know where it had come from. The toilets were spotless, but there was no toilet paper in 2/3 of the ladies loos by first thing Sunday and no staff available to help (visited reception and rang the bell). There is insufficient light for paths at night. This site is expensive given the limited facilities, unrelenting road noise and that there is no shop and no staff in reception.

There’s really nothing to dislike about the place, clean toilets and showers, the grounds are constantly manicured to perfection and the staff are wonderful.

Some inconsiderate people walking through your pitch instead of using the road even after notices were put up requesting them to stop. No fault of the site team they did their best.

The site is smart and clean. The pitches are well laid out with a park feel. The toilet block was lovely and warm. The showers were excellent. We received a friendly welcome with lots of advice on days out and travel options. Travel by bus and train was easy and within walking distance. We had great days out at Chirk and Llangollen.

There was nothing we disliked but with such easy access from nearby main roads, there was bound to be some road noise on site.
