Amazing, almost magical site. Great facilities and service from the owners. It felt a bit like a scene from the Hobbit, very private pitch surrounded by huge trees. I could have stayed here a few more days.....

A bit too close to the A483 ( busy road ).
Be wary of some SatNavs - it won't find the site. Suggest Google Maps. Or ask the owners to email you a reliable map.

Really enjoyed our bank holiday weekend here lovely staff lovely facilities clean and well kept even on such a busy weekend staff was none stop and still made time too say hello

No ball games allowed even small fly away balls that toddlers played with were abruptly told to be put away by the owner who appears to have no manners what so ever

This is a very residential site kids got shouted at several times for making noise during the day and we had to spend most of our days out and about at various locations to entertain them instead which is not want camping is about. Given this is not a cheap site we then had to spend a lot more money doing so as unless your kids like to sit and read books there really is nothing they are allowed to do.
Everyone had to stick to one way in and around the camp as you can not cut through any residential part which is 3/4's of the site
All though the facilities are clean the drainage smell was at times unbearable especially once turning a shower on

A lovely maintained site, staff friendly and welcoming. The site was located just right for our needs, for this trip, but is next to a dual carriageway so ithere s constant traffic noise.
Located near by is a service station which will cater for most peoples needs and an Aldi store next to it.
We were on a grass electric hook-up. Which we found too far from the facilities .
The showers block very clean, and we'll maintained but we found there was not neogh showers foe the size of the site, especially in busy periods ,
The site was dog friendly which allowed us to take our dogs with us.

We had a fantastic extended bank holiday stay with 8 children and six adults. The site and facilities were extremely well maintained. The staff were very accommodating and helpful with good knowledge of the local area assisting us in planning our days out. We would definitely stay here again next year. We had a nice area for our Motorhome and two large tents with plenty of room for the children to play outdoor games. There is not a shop on site but 10 minutes walk away there is a 24 hour Shell fuel station with a well stocked Londis mini supermarket. They have a good supply of wood and charcoal for the barbecue, you can hire a fire pit from the site for your campfire experience. There is also a Costa and a Greggs within the Shell complex. Opposite there is a large Aldi store for all your other needs.

place is ok for a stop over or if your deaf, depending on were you pitch road noise tremendous on the non ehu pitches wagons and boy racers ,but site is very clean and managed really well only issue was road noise,
