Very clean, well organised, people running it were friendly and helpful.
Good location for visiting Chirk, Llangollen and Pontcysyllte Aquaduct.
Recreation area was great for kids to have space to play.

Site welcomed us with an entrance gate which keeps site safe. After a phone call we received nice welcome, and brief explanation of a campsite (together with site map and other useful information). Although place is nearby a quite busy road (for us it was not a big problem), it is covered by mature trees, and plenty of greenery. We found a toilet/shower block really tidy and well equipped -toilet paper, soap, hot water everywhere (even sinks in washing up area). Overall we had a great time here and were well taken care off.

Myself and my partner stayed on an electric tent pitch for our first time ever camping and had a really nice time! The camp site owners were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure we were all set up okay and understood the surroundings on the site! The site itself is peaceful and the facilities were kept clean and so was the upkeep of the site itself generally! We will definitely be returning here in the future! Thanks for a great camping bank holiday stay!

For the short stay we had, the camp showers (2 in men's and 2 in women's) were usually in use but this is a minor in the grand scheme of things so shouldn't put anyone off booking this site!

Everything we have stayed here a couple of times now and it is perfect. The couple who greeted us at reception are lovely and friendly they really do go out of their way to help with anything. The amenities are spotless as is the camp site two showers in each toilet washing up area electric pitches and plenty of cold water taps dotted around the site . Close to supermarket and sight not to far away can't fault anything are stay was perfect.

More showers would be helpful and a closer toilet block to the top fields but that's not a complaint as there not far and wifi would be a bonus

We loved our stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Kids love being able to run around and explore. Grounds were well maintained and shower and toilet block was very very clean. It's very quiet and pieceful. The other good thing is your literally right next to a supermarket Costa and Greggs. Everything you need is on your doorstep. We will definitely be back very very soon

Only thing I can say I would have liked was a little play ground on site for the children. But again that didn't effect our stay and there is a park 5 mins walk away x x

The owners were very friendly and gave us good advice about where to get a decent pub meal within walking distance (we highly recommend loaded fries in the Wynnstay Arms). The behaviour of other campers was really good, everyone was quiet, well before 9pm. The showers were clean and hot. The site is very close to an Aldi store (and a Subway and Greggs) which was handy. The site is pretty, with lots of trees.

Only negatives: traffic noise could be a problem for some as you are near a busy A road. The tent pitches are varied - some flatter than others. Also, give the ground a good check before pegging your tent out; we found 4 bent tent pegs which had been discarded/lost, which could have pierced our groundsheet had we not noticed them.

Lovely site with really clean facilities, absolutely loved the fire pits you can hire here. Would definitely come here again!
