Clean, tidy and friendly. No fuss. Friendly hosts and attached to a lovely small pub with good food (order in advance).

Flat level pitches, all amenities we required were close at hand

Large and fairly level pitch with a drain for waste water. Toilets are accessible 24 hours in the pub and are clean. Site is easily accessible with walks from the site both short and long. Friendly landlady and the pub food is excellent.

Elsam emptying point is into a large free standing tank with steps to reach the top.

Loved the hard standing well maintained pitch with z grass area and picnic bench with parasol. Site is situated behind a pub , food there was delicious and friendly people. Very secure , and Ken moon the harris hawk .

Beautiful little spot in an lovely town. We stayed the night before going to download festival at donington park the following day. Well maintained pitch attached to a friendly and warm pub. I have no doubt we will be back!

Great little site. Brilliant pub with friendly locals also another pub 3 minutes walk away if you want a meal on the days the site pub doesn't serve meals (Monday and Tuesdays when we were there). The access is a bit tight and not for the faint hearted if you have a large outfit but as the picture will prove it can be accomplished safely with an 8ft wide Twin axle pulled by a BMW X5. I would certainly use again if travelling anywhere near this area in future.

Fabulous stopover. Immaculate large pitches. Everything was really well kept. Pub also lovely. Landlady and staff were super too. Access to toilets 24/7. Couldn't fault it. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone.

Friendly owners, good pitch drain, 16 amp hookup. Quiet site.

Water point was shared with a riding stable adjoining the caravan site with swapping of hoses from a single water point, which also was a piped connection to the Elsan disposal area. The hygiene side of swapping pipe connections after using the Elsan point and also opening and closing the entry gate needs urgent attention. The entry and exit from road to site is precarious as the turn in and out is acute. Exiting when vehicles are parked above and below the opening restricts vision particularly when in a car. |Could do with mirrors opposite the exit for both up and down the road. to go back to close the entry/exit gate requires stopping somewhere up or down the road which is difficult as roadside parking is restricted.
