A beautiful site in a great location for outdoor activities. Very peaceful and well-maintained. Lovely community-run pub a short walk up the road.

Better than expected, huge site with lots of space and beautiful view. Clean toilets and owner is super friendly. Has a couple recycle bins. Very easy to book. Love that they allow cheaper prices for solo travellers as not many other sites do. Would definitely return

Signage into the site is not so visible from the car as we drove by a few times, and the main round bin was not signed so wasn’t sure what it was for and had mixed items in it. No shower (but they stated this on the site) so wouldn’t be the greatest for more than couple days.

the pitch was nice and level and wasn’t busy at all which was great as we were worried it would be packed for the bank holiday. there was also a band playing music just outside our campsite that we could hear from our tent for about 3pm-10pm which we loved however this campsite was advertised as a quiet camp and that no music was allowed so others may not be so happy about that.

toilets weren't great, they were just 4 port-a-loos so obviously the smell and hygiene wasn’t good. there also wasn’t any sinks or hot water to wash hands or pots so just felt like we were given the very bare minimum. there is also little to nothing to do around the campsite all we found was a little pub that doesn’t serve food about a 10 min walk from where we were

The site was great, it's a massive field brilliant for our grandkids and by the river for skimming stones.
The views are brilliant. The site is well placed for things to do and see.
The people who ran the site are great, helpful and friendly.
Four portaloos for 50 units isn't a lot but they kept them clean.
This would have been 5 stars if it was just the advertised 'quiet' campsite with fabulous views. Perfect you would think!

The campsite was across the lane from the village recreation ground which had been let out to a private group.
I don't mind people having music or parties, but for our entire stay, three days, the whole weekend, the loud music started around 2pm and 'Thrrrump thrump thrump thrump thrump thrump thrump thrump thrump thrump very repetitive music........ Until 10:30 EVERY DAY!
2 pm til 10:30 pm for all of our holiday! All through the grandkids bedtime
My nerves were jangling, everyone's nerves were jangling. Thrump thrump, it wasn't even good music. There was some live music but for most of the 10 1/2 hours every day for three days it was piped techno music.
We asked the lady who runs the site about the music and she looked surprised and said she didn't know about it but a local told us that the same group rents the recreation ground every year so be warned.
I would recommend that you check the parish council's recreation ground's bookings before booking this site.

It was my first time camping , and I can say it was an enjoyable experience, we only stayed for one night as a trial run and the campsite had everything we could ask for

Great site really easy to find everyone was respectful of others shop literally 10mins walk away if you needed anything definitely go again
