Very reasonably priced. Great facilities, both pitches & facilities were well kept and clean. Excellent views.

The road up to the site is very bumpy, didn’t bother us all too much, just put the van through it’s paces.

View was great. Large pitches.

Showers were dark, which the children didn't like. Access road was very uneven.

Great site with very well maintained toilets and showers. The location is very picturesque with fantastic views of the Pennines

The other occupants on site were a typical mix of folk, and my kids quickly made friends

Off grid with no water or electricity supply, however, the owners make this perfectly clear on their website

Part of the site is on a gradient, so bring plenty of chocks to level your vehicle

Road up to campsite difficult in non 4x4

Stunning scenery, impeccably clean, quiet, spaced out pitches, hot showers, lovely washing up area and toilets. Stayed for two nights and would highly recommend.

Quiet peaceful rural location, lovely views, great shower, friendly welcome on arrival.

The road to the farm is a bit frightening! The one past the golf course over the small bridge is not use able for anything bigger than a mini!

Great location with incredible views, this site is basic, but the showers are great and the owner is lovely. I will definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

Not really a dislike, the ground is very stoney under the grass, this made it very difficult to peg the tent down. I feel this should have been communicated before arrival.

Homescales campsite provided fun for all the family. A well kept site including toilet and shower facilities and level pitches. Beautiful scenery and lots to do within a short distance including onsite activities and Kendal just a 10 minute drive away. Plenty countryside walks at your feet. A beautiful lake for kayaking close by and windamere less than half an hour away was a lovely day trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Homescales. The views across the hills were beautiful and lots of friendly farm animals came to say hello which was enjoyable for all the family. Toilet and show facilities were always clean and fully stocked. The location was brilliant, only a short drive into Kendal and ASDA superstore only about a 7 minute drive to restock on any needed supplies. A lovely dog friendly pub called the Punch Bowl only a 5 minute drive away with beautiful homemade food. Would highly recommend the campsite and would love to return.
