Caroline was very welcoming and helpful on arrival, providing us details about all the facilities and where to pitch the tent. The setting is beautiful with the sound of the stream always present, and sheep in the field opposite. At night it is peaceful (except for the running water of the stream), and all in darkness so on clear nights the view of the sky is lovely. Roy was very cheerful and polite too. Although we didn’t need to, I feel like should there have been any issues then Caroline and Roy were both very approachable and would have done anything to resolve any issues.
Perfect location within an hour of attractions such as Powis Castle and Chirk Castle.
Facilities were clean all the time, and never had to queue for them once. Showers were hot, and there was a hairdryer in the bathrooms too. Washing up facilities were clean and tidy, with hot water. Toaster, microwave, fridge and freezer all available for use too. As well as a washing machine and dryer (£3.50/£1 respectively). Currently no signal for me on the site, but wifi worked well and it was nice to escape and relax. Faultless stay and very affordable which included electric hook up! The owners met us on arrival and we’re very welcoming and friendly, helped us find the best spot for our van and assisted in placing our ramps to even us out. The facilities are clean and inviting and there’s a room for washing up and games provided.
The showers were nice and clean with hot running water and the site itself is very well kept.
There is a pub near by and we were given a map of the site with directions. I Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and will definitely be back for a longer stay.Не понравилось: There’s no phone signal and WiFi is limited but that was fine for us on our 2 night stay, I would recommend downloading any tv or movies to devices before arrival so that you don’t need to rely on the WiFi. There is a phone on site if you do need to contact someone.
