We loved everything about this site! Our first time here and they made us feel so welcome, helped us choose the best pitch for what we needed when we got there, level the van up too! Facilities are super clean, and so is the site. All pitches look good, even the tent pitches are spacious and perfect by the river. It’s in the perfect location, out in the country so it’s so so peaceful, but only a 5 minute nice walk down the river to the village with a pub. Visited Bala (lovely little town with incredible lake) and LOTS of hiking spots near by! Already looking at coming back again :)

Great views, perfect facilities and great host. Perfect phone signal if you are on EE.

Showers were clean and hot, hair drier, tooth brush/shaver charging spots included which is unheard of everywhere I have camped before.

Cleanliness was exceptional and the kids loved the stream, the location was stunning

Felt like we were a little to close to others, especially as people were pulling up very close to unload there tents for the tent field

Everything!!!! The camping dell is stunning, the shower and toilet blocks are spotless, best we have ever seen! Caroline and Roy are perfect, so welcoming and their knowledge of the surrounding areas is great! Even the long standing guests are just so lovely. We have been 3 times now and each time we camp our 6yo asks for here. A must visit for everyone!!

Nothing - everything was amazing

Was a lovely location with a 360 hill back drop and river along the bottom of the campsite. Great location for hiking .Also a cute walk along the river to get to the local pub for a drink or lunch or supper.

There is no Internet 100% . You will get no signal at all on your phone. I was meeting up with my daughter who lives 20 mins away and could not use my phone. They give you a wifi code but it didn’t work not only for us but it didn’t work for any of my neighbours either. So working from there would be impossible. We had a tent but unfortunately you can’t drive you car to the tent pitches. So you have your car as close as you can and either hall all your stuff down stairs or through a gate and across the field. Lucky my husband was strong to carry it all.
Tiny cabin for all amenities. 1 disabled shower, 3 other shower cubicles with toilet and one single toilet. 1 place to wash dishes. Many more are needed for size of the camp.
Lastly there is a local dog who likes to bark. It’s woke us one morning and heard it barking a number of time. If you have a caravan or a motor home you will be ok as you have your own facility but wouldn’t recommend for camping.

Remote location and no signal, WiFi didn’t work. Loud music and singing until midnight every night and dogs barking early mornings. Shame as the site is beautiful but the lack of sleep and peace ruined our stay. Children not allowed to play on bikes, scooters or with balls and dogs have to be on a lead at all times even in the walking field

Camping area for tents was excellent and facilities on site were well maintained. Showers and toilets clean. Peaceful location with stunning views of Berwyn mountains. Friendly and helpful welcome from site owners. Would definitely recommend to stay here and will be back when in the area next.
