Thank you for also recognising the clean facilities that our team work so hard to upkeep.
Even though our location is at the top of the hill, the advantage is the beautiful rolling countryside that surrounds us. We have placed a list of all our local taxi's in the toilet area for those who do not want to walk down the hill to the pub and hope that this is helpful information for if you wished to visit our site again.

I am pleased to hear that you found your stay with us peaceful, and I hope that you all managed to enjoy your time together on our small campsite.

We do try our best to be as transparent as possible to all customers wishing to book to stay with us, therefore we haven’t listed as having any leisure features on our site. We encourage anyone to bring their own small garden games, such as swing balls or footballs, etc as we love to see you all enjoying yourselves on the grassed camping area. As mentioned in our listing, we are primarily a wedding venue and are only a small campsite of 15 pitches, however, we hope that guests who book to stay with us have the opportunity to enjoy the rolling countryside and rural walks around the site.

Safety is paramount here at Heaton House Farm and with the weddings taking place our car park can get quite busy with suppliers and deliveries and as we are still a working farm, we do have farming machinery onsite also. The member of staff who may have told your son not to play in the car park would only have had his best interests at heart. I do hope that this didn’t affect your stay and that your son managed to enjoy his time at the campsite too.

I am pleased to hear that you liked the rural location, we are very lucky to be in such a wonderful area.
I am so very sorry to hear that you were kept awake by the music, we do clearly state that we hold weddings in the main venue on our listing, however, all music does stop by midnight.
I appreciate that the suppliers collecting is not ideal, this is something that rarely happens on the night (usually from 9am the following morning) but we do occasionally allow them to collect when the wedding finishes if they have a particularly busy schedule. We will definitely keep in mind how this may affect the campers so thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Finally, we do send an email out to explain that our reception is open every day from 9am until 5pm and also provide you with an out of hours number in addition to this. I have had a look at the dates you stayed and the majority of our other pitches (further away from the main venue) were available and so we would have been more than happy to move you should we have been notified.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the shower, we are only a small site and so we find that the shower facilities are usually ample, however, I can appreciate that it is not always ideal.

That's great to hear that you experienced minimal noise from the event taking place, we do find this is the case on most occasions.
We offer contactless check-in for our guests to allow flexibility and the freedom to arrive when is most suitable for you, however within our pre-arrival email the office opening times are detailed should you need us for anything during your stay.

We are very lucky with the views that we have surrounding us, and even more so when the weather is this glorious.
Our team work extremely hard to maintain high standards of our facilities, thank you for recognising this.
I can see that we were fully booked for the night that you stayed with us, with some guests of the wedding party choosing to make use of our camp site. We do ask for all guests to be respectful of other campers when staying with us and keep noise to a minimum past 10pm; I am sorry to hear that this was not the case during your stay. All music from the main venue is switched off at Midnight.
We were alerted of a sheep that had passed and we advised the owner who dealt with this as soon as possible.
All of our pitches are clearly number and are generous in size and we ask that everyone pitches up and keeps within the allocated lines.
I hope the above didn't cause too much of an inconvenience to your stay with us!
