We are pleased to hear you found our staff helpful and friendly.
With you staying over the bank holiday weekend, as I am sure you can understand we were fully booked. All campers are pre-emailed with their specific pitch number and we request everyone stay within their large spacious pitch, as our pitches are large enough for a caravan and awning. Unfortunately, one of our guests had straddled two pitches and refused to reposition themselves when requested which meant we had to relocate one of our guests next to your original pitch which is normally an unallocated area, however we did feel that we left ample space for yourselves based on the size of our other pitches and from feedback from previous guests, we have found these to be ample in space. As soon as we were made aware of the situation, a member of the team came straight out with you to rectify this.
As you also chose to set up in a different pitch to the one that was allocated to you, this meant that we had to ‘create’ a new pitch for the guest originally allocated to this space. As we didn’t request for you to move from the space you had chosen, we had assumed that the problem was resolved and settled at the time.
All of our pitches are hard standing with reinforced mesh guarded under the grass, allowing our campers to still have beautiful views of the grass and countryside whilst keeping it suitable for caravans and campervans. We are happy to hear you found these flat and the drainage was good, with the wet weather we have recently received.

We are happy to hear that the wedding we had taking place did not disturb your stay with us. We hope you enjoyed your walks with your furry friend in the fields and surrounding areas.

All our pitches are located on the grassed area of the campsite, however as you have mentioned, 2 out of the 15 pitches are closer to our car park. We have placed the electric hook-up boxes conveniently behind where the caravans are parked due to the location of where most caravans charging points are. We do hope that the long leads didn’t take away from our beautiful scenery.
