lovely campsite, friendly owners , my 18yr old daughter loved the cows , was a nice 8 days in the Yorkshire countryside

only grumble I would gave would be the pitches were very close together, sometimes it felt like the tent/ motorhome people were sat in our tent with us!!

Can't complain for the money but shower/toilet could be a little cleaner. An estate agent would refer to it as 'rustic'.

Simple field with nice views over the fields in front of the van, quiet and restful. The owner was pleasant and helpful. surprised adults only, definitely go again.

Well where do I start. The site is a basic adult only site with a single toilet and shower combined, not a big site so really not a problem. The pitches are generous and the view over the field is great, with the chance of seeing all sorts of wildlife. I saw Kestrel, Buzzard, Heron, Yellow Hammer, and Hedgehog to name a few.
The Camp site owner Ian and his wife Trish are absolute legends. Within half an hour of my being on the site I dislocated my shoulder, Ian took me to the Hospital in Bridlington but then had to take me to A&E in Scarborough. when they had fixed me up he came and picked me up to take me back to the site. In the mean time he and some of the other campers had put up my tent and taken everything out of the car so that i wouldn't have to lift anything heavy. In the week that I was there I had so much support from everyone even down to my car battery dying and Ian and one of the other campers getting me up and running again.
To sum up, a very relaxing peaceful site with owners that care about your stay with them.

Everything ! Ian and his wife are simply lovely people, and a pleasure to meet. Site Clean and tidy ( Working farm ) Great views of the farm land and very accessible for visiting all the local attractions . Scarbough, Bridlington, Driffeld.
The train station is just at the bottom of the lane, so you can leave the car on site. There are three pubs in the village 10-15 minute walk as well as chip shop and general dealers. The village is quiet and friendly with lots of walks around the area.

The site does have only one toilet and shower room but it was never a problem. there is a chemical disposal point . Good flat marked electric pitches with plenty of room and open area for tents on the other side. doesn't spoil the views.

It was peaceful and relaxing and quiet at night time. i would recommend this site to family and friends without hesitation. and again a pleasure to meet the site owner's

Country surroundings. Peaceful. Nice village and town nearby and not too far from lots of coastal locations. Great price. I would recommend taking a chemical toilet as loo and shower combined but great value.

Very nice views.
Short 20 minute stroll into the village where you'll find 3 friendly pubs, the Blue Bell serves very nice pizza on a Friday and Saturday, and a local store selling just about everything. Bear in mind you pay for what you get, and so this was well worth it.

There's only one toilet and one shower.
Very long grass but I understand this is for the wildlife.

Everything, the venue - the countryside, the sunsets, being around the animals on the farm, the trainstation a short walk away so you can access the coast, neighbouring villages and Hull if you don't want to use the car. As a loan female traveller I felt safe on this site. I stayed the week as I had family I wanted to see locally and I found the facilities adequate for me. I find the previous negative comments unjust in my opinion, this is a working farm, if you're expecting glamping go elsewhere and quit your complaining! If you're a "hardy" camper you'll be just fine here. I recommend the electric hook up if you're staying longer than 2/3 nights. Great for charging your phone, I find this essential for me keeping my phone live so I can keep communicating with my family and booking train tickets. I will go back to this little bit of heaven. The farmer was ever so friendly and checked on me to make sure I was ok. He was lovely! *happyface*
