The location provided fantastic surroundings and views ! The facilities i.e. the Showers /Toilets were spotlessly clean but for us the highlight was our visit to the on-site restaurant. The staff were very attentive and welcoming and the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We took advantage of being able to relax after dinner in the small but well stocked bar area and was a real plus for us, as dogs were welcome and both we and our hound were made to feel very welcome.

I cannot fault anything about our visit and as 'seasoned campers' we were so impressed that we are already planning our next trip to this gem of a campsite and have recommended it to friends !

Easy access, quiet (except for the chickens in the morning) and one of the best breakfasts we have had in a while.

Disappointed that the restaurant is not open evenings during the week, should be mentioned in the description, but there was a place 5 minutes up the road.

We had a great stay in mid-June! The campsite was cosy and welcoming with friendly staff and sparkly clean facilities. Two shower rooms and two toilets is plenty for a campsite of this size! The cider and the restaurant were perfect perks to this lovely site!!

Grass was a little long but not really an issue! Signal isn’t great but that makes it a great place to switch off!!!

Lovely area, staff were friendly. The animals on the farm were a joy to watch and listen to. The site is basic but has everything you need - this was our first stay in our new van and had no issues at all.

Toilets and showers were always clean, however quite basic - toilets were a little trek from the far end of the field but not a huge issue (unless you’re bursting!)

The campsite was lovely and quiet and very lovely polite staff. They leave you alone but are really helpful!

I think the showers could be better placed as they’re built on top of dust and it’s not deal when wet. I also think the land needed mowing before having campers however I understand they’re moving the pitches onto a better field

Gorgeous setting, nice and quiet, great to have a fantastic breakfast on offer in the morning too. Home brewed cider and other drinks available to buy. Great customer service too, was refunded a gazebo charge I’d added by accident.

Shower goes cold when person is using the other. You’ll be lucky to get signal and I couldn’t get onto wifi, but that was quite a nice break!

Everything…. Overall was a good campsite and the on-site cider farm and restaurant really made our days.

A beautiful working farm campsite, and very welcoming. It was a lovely touch to see the Hens, Ducks, Turkeys and Goats. The restaurant was fantastic all home made food and the home made cakes were to die for, also we tried there ciders which also were excellent especially the Rhubarb Cider.
Enjoyed our stay and will be going back.

We just got back from a lovely four night stay with our two young children. The field was never full so there was plenty of room for them to run around and play and they loved looking at the animals and waving at the passing tractors! Despite there only being two showers and two toilets (one male and one female) we didn’t find this an issue at all during our stay and never had to wait to use either. The facilities themselves were clean and well maintained. The shop sells lovely apple juice & ciders and we enjoyed some delicious food in the restaurant on site too. The campsite is just far enough out of the way to be peaceful, but still easy to get to and we would definitely stay again!
