The village of Rawcliffe is approximately a 20 minute walk with the usual pub, costcutter shop and pizza and chinese takeaways. Close to M62 making access easy. The phone reception is strong too so you still have access to the outside world if required.

Big flat plains of East Yorkshire means the reception has nothing blocking it. Did you mention that you are staying on site at the pizza place - discount available.
The Green Inn and Peppered pig are also close if you want a sit down meal.
