It has well maintained good sized pitches and they are well laid out so you have plenty of room. The toilet block was clean and had hot water in showers & basins. Ah Amanda, its been so quiet this year. Mainly 10s and everyone happy. I thought we were headed for a clean sheet but... there's always one.
Looking at the other reviews you've left for Campsites this year, the only "perfect 10" awarded has been for a large, commercial grade Caravan Park. The others just haven't been up to your standard...
So lets have a look at this horrific ordeal
"The water pressure is terrible"
"The makeshift doors didn't fit very well"
I could make all kinds of justifications here but they'd be about as valuable as your contribution given that I can't provide any real solid evidence to the contrary. So, what can I do to fight my corner? Well I think we're about 700 bookings in this year, over the last 3 years there will have been around 4500 bookings through the Campsite gates, all making use of our facilities.
I would ask prospective guests who are reading this review to simply take a look at our other 555 reviews on Pitchup and 123 reviews on Google.
Any mention of "terrible water pressure" or "Ill fitting makeshift doors"?
Not a sausage. In fact, lets take a look at the last 10 reviews.
"Great hot showers, clean toilets and washing up area"
" toilets showers excellent"
"The facilities were perfect"
So, I'm not providing the evidence here. My previous guests are. No mention anywhere of poor water pressure, no mention of ill-fitting makeshift doors...
Our Toilet/Shower Block may not be commercial grade but its kept clean and everything works. I have personally used Showers on Commercial Campsites that aren't as good as ours. For those concerned, there are numerous pictures available on Pitchup, Google and our own Website of the Campsite and Facilities taken by both me and our guests.
Maybe you pair should stick to Caravan Parks and leave us smaller, traditional Campsites out of your itinerary. We would much rather discourage you from coming than pander to your commercial standards. We have no desire to compete for your custom. Our return/regular guest list grows every year and we score a solid 9.6 out of 10 because we do what we do very well.

I think this perhaps needs a better clarification on the dislikes.
There are, in fact, 4 toilets in total. 2 Men's and 2 Women's.
There are no urinals.... because you can urinate in the toilet.
I'm not sure when you've seen anyone waiting to use the loo, but a likely scenario would be when a small group return from the pub down the road and, after necking the last drop of their pint (or Pinot Grigio), return to Campsite with a bladder full. In this scenario, of course someone would have to wait for a minute.
I'm sure we would benefit from WiFi.... but wouldn't it be nice if we had a Hot Tub next to each pitch!
Come on, we don't advertise for WiFi, I can't imagine there's many Campsites like ours that supply it for as little as £8 per head per night either 😅
