Oh dear, it's definitely silly season.
Toilet and shower block is basic and clean and appreciated by many of our return guests. Please see other reviews. We're confident in it.
It's not commercial grade and never will be. This is by design as it, usually quite successfully, puts off the fussy gang who will ALWAYS find something to moan about.
Unfortunately, due to us being significantly cheaper than the commercial Campsites over the Summer Holidays the fussy gang tend to turn up here and moan that it's not a commercial grade Campsite.
All facilties are shown clearly in our listing as is the Outdoors Pot Washing area. You were supplied with what was advertised and clearly shown.
Probably best if you go somewhere else next time because it'll be exactly the same for the foreseeable future 👍
For everyone that's looking for a cheap, basic, clean Campsite with hot, free to use showers. Clean toilets, basins and outdoor pot washing area. Pub just down the road and footpaths straight out of the gate. For as little as £8 pppn. Give us a try and join our ever growing return guest base. You'll probably be pleased to learn that the Tight Britches Brigade are less likely to be here too 😁

We supply 500 litres of Hot Water minimum, per day, to the Campsite Basins and Sinks which, for the size of the Campsite, is an enormous amount. The showers heat the Hot Water separately, on demand, so are inexhaustible. I'm not sure where this 'unreliable' issue is coming from?
As can be seen in other reviews regards "toilets and showers" cleanliness, other guests have commented particularly on how clean the facilities are. All I would say is that it's down to being realistic. During your stay the weather was pretty wet. This means that after the morning and evening clean it only takes a few visits to make the floors look messy again. I'm not going to be in there every hour of the day sweeping the floor, come on guys you're Camping not Glamping.
If a more Commercial grade or Glamping is what you're after it's out there and they usually charge alot more than we do at this time of year.

Eight pounds each per night is what it cost to camp here for these two. In Peak Season during the week after Bank Holiday Weekend.
After Pitchup fees we got about £6.80 of that £8!
Included with this were free-to-use showers.

A pub 200m down the road
An idealic, peaceful location with footpaths straight out of the gate.
To put that into perspective....
2 x Pints in the pub £8-£10
Cost of fuel to get here and back home around £20 minimum plus the driving around while here.
Eating out £25 per person per meal realistically.
Parking in a local Car Park for 4 hours around £4-£5
2 x Meal Deals from Tesco for Dinner £6.80!
Come on guys, we're one of the cheapest Campsites in the area and, for what you get in return, it's an absolute bargain.
You're also well aware of the cost in advance, so please don't make a booking then attend and mark us down because you wanted it cheaper.
I think maybe a reality check is in order here.
