The location and scenery are wonderful, and we also enjoyed the Thai food which you can order from the campsite and is delivered to your pitch.

We were based in the field, and we found the facilities (toilets, showers and washing up) a long way, uphill, from our pitches.
The facilities were basic and insufficient for the number of people staying on the site, and not well maintained.
The campsite does not allow for the disposal of any rubbish which is difficult if you are staying for any length of time.

We had a campervan spot in the woods and it was lovely. Nice and flat and there was lots of space to sit outside the van. It felt quite private and it was nice to be surrounded by trees. Easy access to the estuary and beautiful walks.

There were only 4 toilet cubicles for the entire campsite which led to queues at times.

Very pleasant and helpful owners, great location and good facilities for a 'wild camping' site.
Wifi is available at the main building which is helpful considering the lack of signal across the whole area.

Lovely location for a semi wild camping experience. The woodland pitches offer a really enjoyable opportunity to feel like you are in nature. Our pitch was bigger than we had expected and we had ample space for our 4-man tent. Our stay was in August, the busiest time of the year, so the camp was probably as full as it could be and there was a lot of typical campsite sounds from the other woodland pitches around us but for us that wasn’t an issue.
There are some lovely easy walks from the site and the walk to the river was our favourite - it’s an easy 40 minute walk to the nearest pub.
It’s also a really great base to explore the plethora of walking opportunities further afield.
The woodland pitches don’t turn muddy in the rain and neither does the path to the facilities so wellies were not required.
There are several different accommodation options from shepherd huts to teepees and we would consider one of those on another occasion.
The woodland pitches are not too far from the ablution block - the grass pitches has quite a walk so I thought that was a positive.
There was ample hot water available for showers.
I liked having no signal in the camp for 4 days, though the teenagers thought the end of the world had arrived.

It rained for almost all of our stay and we eventually capitulated and came home 3 days early, which was a pity.
The camp is very rustic and the ablution facilities very basic. There were 4 toilets with 2 very small hand basins, 3 showers, 2 vanity basins and 2 washing up sinks - which seemed insufficient for the number of people on the site. It wasn’t particularly clean but the toilets all worked and were restocked with toilet paper fairly regularly. The showers had hot water but they were quite small, not particularly clean and very basic.
Parking was very tight and limited but we managed to squeeze ourselves in.
Poor mobile signal but one of the children had reception on their phone at our camp on the 3 mobile network. I liked not having any signal for a few days.

Very picturesque site. Owner on hand. Showers clean and lovely and hot. Toilets and wash area clean. Nice little shop for the basics. Lovely walks. Great all round site

Place where is a lot of green colour. Close to nature. A lot things to do. Hiking, cycling, swimming, kayaking. Everything in one place.
