Location, facilities nice and clean.

We had a good corner plot to accommodate all our children so they could play.

Takeaway delivered to sight, lovely people and brought a card machine so was handy.

We had a lovely time with all our friends and children due to us arriving on the Thursday when it was quiet and getting a good spot.

Toilets were very unclean, some unusable at some point and with there only being 5 (in women’s) it made it busy.

Thursday, Friday were not bad but it got Very busy Saturday and only 5 women toilets/showers on the whole camp meaning people were queuing out the toilets and washing up room.

Showers were very hot, one night the children couldn’t use them (no temp gage)

Facilities were clean and modern. Beautiful location.

The shop was really expensive and our pitch was right next to a gate to the lake which meant that people were walking across our pitch to access it as there was no clear access.

Plenty of space between each tent, dodnt feel crowded. The lady in the reception was so friendly and helpful. Very clean, and good facilities.

We were a bit of a walk from the toilets.

The campsite was in a gorgeous setting next to a beautiful lake. Although at first it appeared to be far away from local stores such as Morrisons, enough time spend here makes you realise you don't need modern day. Because it's nice to just sit in awe of how quiet and calm it is there. It was our first camping holiday with our lovely 10 month old son who I'm certain will be on many more with us in the future ! The toilets were well kept and tidy, and the upkeep of the camp itself even better. There was no allocated pitching which gave us as a family the ability to gather in a circle and made for lovely conversations round the campfire and even better, melted marshmallows !

We will definitely be coming back here for visit number 2.

PS: definitely visit the castle which is only a 20 minute walk from the site. It is gorgeous !

Not a single thing. There was even an ice cream truck. Hell yes !

Nothing stands out that we particularly liked.

The condition of the bathrooms were not great and certainly not clean. The washing machine took our money but did not work. There was a tree branch hidden in the grass that we had to drive over to reach our tent pitch which damaged the underside of the car. I could go on and on.
