On the Friday every man and his dog arrived for the bank holiday ( dog poo on the grasses next to caravan pitches and on gravel if you had to get to the toilets !.. people just decided to set up on the gravel path to get some sun so if you came in late you had to wait until they moved for you ?.. could have done with someone walking round to keep people in check?.. toilet floors were full of wet grass from people on the field using toilet/shower block and what's with the $$ for a hot shower..never come across that before if that's the case and the price of electric has gone up just put a little extra on the price of the booking??.. before I forget the site has a main rail line behind it which ment we never got any proper sleep due to constant trains passing.

Hi Mike, I’m very concerned regarding your review. You choose to stay at our busiest time of the year on a bank holiday so yes we do get busy and people tend to arrive on a Friday. The hard standings pitches are measured out from the camping and caravanning club regulations so they are adequate sizes. Our showers and toilets get cleaned at least three times a day, although we try our very best in keeping the facilities clean people do abuse them. If you were unhappy with the facilities, why did you not let a member of staff know? However if you look at other reviews from this time you stayed everyone has commented on how clean and immaculate/spotless they were ? The showers are £1 yes, the reasoning for this is not because we want to charge you for a shower it is simply because people cannot be bothered to turn the shower off after their use and when the £1 has run out after 5 minutes it will now cut out. Correct our site does have a railway line behind but surely you would have researched our site before arriving? If you would like to contact myself regarding any of these issues please call me.
