The site was lovely and peaceful, apart from our kids :) great field for them to play and really liked the potting shed and beer garden where we enjoyed a breakfast roll and afternoon drink.
Had to use portaloos and portashower due to the new ones being built but this was fine with us and they were always topped up with toilet roll and sanitizer.

Unable to get food the day we arrive due to a fire 2 days before. So went to the local pub which was a 10minute walk. Food was delicious.
Не понравилось: When we arrived nobody was there. So tried phoning and tried knocking doors but still nothing for15 minutes. Just a sign saying closed. Managed to flag someone down who was guest, Then to be informed there had been a fire in the shower block 2 days ago . No staff available to talk to us.shortly after the owner came over and said if we wanted to go home we would get a refund or stay and get another free stay . Which by the way never got to re book. So never got that ! Also there was an incident on the second night which the owners did try to resolve as quickly has they could. Maybe review same sex groups .
We would like to apologise for this,unfortunately our shower block went up in flames and our electric metre blew up.We had electricians working to get all our power resumed.We were on the property but not in cafe due to no electric in there.
Our new block is well on its way and I offered you a free night when all sorted.Which we will honour.If you just call us and we can sort that for you.
Like this weekend I phoned all customers and told them the situation and offered them a free night when the new block is finished.
Very trying time but everyone seems happy this weekend.

Thank you for your review.Unfortunately our shower block went up in flames few days prior.I tried to contact everyone regarding this.Has it was bank holiday I only managed to get one shower cubicle and the holiday let shower was available from Sunday.5 portable toilets.The company cleaned them Friday and Sunday for us.
I also have offered everyone a free stay when our new block is up and running.
It is already up to having its roof on.
Has I stated to everyone it was beyond my control,and has you can see with the other reviews people wanted to come instead of cancelling there stay which I would of refunded.Sorry once again.
