Quite, peaceful location. Loved the pizza oven and hot tub! Host showed us around and left plenty of wood and then we hardly saw anyone again for the whole weekend! Pitch has own private parking spot but co-op 2 mins walk away handy for anything you need.

Maybe a few more cooking utensils? Went and bought a sharp knife and a chopping board to use. ( But that's if I'm being really picky)

Great location and well thought out Shepherds hut, fenced round to stop wandering children and dogs. Hut was beautiful and had all the essentials with extras like microwave and fridge in communal area if needed. Bedding was provided and a nice seating area outside with chimnea and pizza oven for warmer weather. Hot tub was great and made the trip.
Lovely café open in the mornings for a delicious breakfast, pub and shop within walking distance.

Nothing

We stayed as a mid 40’s couple. We found the site charming and the shepherds hut had everything we needed. There is a small toilet in the hut along with additional toilets down the field or a two minute walk across the road to the shower block. We had a variety of animals come to visit us whilst we were staying separated by a fence. We even managed to see a lamb being born. The owner had the hot tub lit and ready for us when we arrived and it was great to be in that whilst looking up at the stars. It also eased any aches and pains after long walks in the delightful surrounding area. The fire pit and bbq added more atmosphere and somewhere to cook. There is a large co-op about five minutes walk away along with a few pubs and restaurants.

The owner was friendly and helpful and the cafe next to the shower block did a very reasonably priced and quality breakfast.

Not much to be honest. No real complaints

A quiet, private pitch, fenced off for the dog. The chemical free, wood burning hot stove, and the indoor wood burning stove that kept the cabin warm even in January. Very close to co-op and local pubs. The waggonway walk a few minutes away. Bacon butties at The Pantry over the road.

It was quite snug for four of us. We had to keep some of our stuff in the car. Not many options to hang up swimsuits and dressing gowns (when using the hot tub).
