Beautiful camping field with clean showers and toilets just a two minute walk away. Spacious pitch and amazing value for money. We will be back!!!

Outstanding attention to detail. This campsite is utterly immaculate, with well-kept individual pitches, spaced far enough apart to ensure you get to enjoy the stunning views and tranquility on offer. Facilities for showering etc are of an excellent standard and the mini park is a great addition for children. Super friendly staff make for a great getaway.

Such a beautiful well maintained site. Pitches are a large size and on arrival you are escorted up to the pitch to avoid getting lost.
Staff are amazingly friendly and made me (as a sole female traveller) feel welcome, safe and that nothing was too much trouble.
Bathrooms were spotless!

The whole site was very clean the shower block immaculate. The grass was well mown and the clippings either collected or so well mulched that we didn't end up with the usual problem of grass clippings being walked into the van. Our motorhome is 9 meters long but we told the staff before we booked and they put us on one of the longer pitches where there was plenty of room.
The views from the camping field where our friends were staying were wonderful, sitting outside their tent watching the red kites soaring over the valley was very relaxing. The site has a separate wildlife friendly area with plenty of nectar rich plants for pollinators and several 'bug hotels' there are also bee hives and standing several feet away watching the bees come and go was fascinating.
The children's play area was well used.

We dot not dislike anything.
Some people might be concerned because most of the site is sloping. Levelling boards are provided for the hardstanding pitches which slope slightly left to right (a few inches) but it wasn't a problem for us. The area to the side of the van where you would put a table has a slope on several of the pitches, a small price to pay if you want spectacular views and we were able to put our large table on a flat piece of grass at the rear of the pitch so it didn't matter.
The WiFi was occasionally slow by city standards but this is mid wales where internet speeds aren't great for most residents. We saw several people who were able to stream video clips with minimal buffering. There is some 5G available at the site.

Warm welcome, lovely site with good, clean amenities and well located for access to Hay-on-Wye (~45 minute walk, most of it with footpath - they were also running a park and ride service from Clyro for the Hay Festival which was really handy and free if you weren’t parking!). The camping area was really pretty and pitches were a good size and well spaced out so we could really relax. Will definitely be back!

Not a dislike at all but just a note that sadly the pub and shop in Clyro have closed, so you do have to drive somewhere or walk into Hay-on-Wye for a local. There is a shop in the petrol garage on the main road and there was a pop-up pub in the village hall on Friday night.
