Beautifully kept campsite, felt private and lovely to feel like we were in our own little field with how the pitches were separated with grass kept wild. Toilet blocks were always clean when we went in, and the site owners really thought of everything with the amenities. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the site was in a perfect location. Really beautiful and well kept site, couldn’t have been happier with it.

Clean site with excellent facilities

This site is far more suited to very young families than our older child. There was a pleasant aspect but it felt very commercial and there were no eating or coffee/snack areas or activities for adults and older children. The other sites we have stayed at over the years have had a specific draw like a beach or a location near a particular beauty spot with access to a village with some restaurants - if these were present there was no information about them and they weren’t evident from a trip advisor and Google search - the welcome from the reception was great but the site wasn’t for us

Superb toilet facilities.

Disagree with site being 0.5mile from the pub, would guess at more like a mile.

The park is beautifully laid out and maintained, with plenty of space, and water and EHU for every motor home/campervan pitch. Excellent amenities including spotless showers, washing up area and laundry. There’s a lovely orchard, with herb garden (free to pick) and dog-walking field, and it’s clear to see the thought that’s gone into every area of the site. Friendly and helpful managers, Alan and Tracy.

Between us, my partner and I have been camping for over 30 years and we both agree that this site is probably the best we've ever stayed at. The grounds are beautifully maintained and well thought out, and we all loved the orchard and apiary. It's a really peaceful place to sit and read.

We booked the sloped, wild camping and were happy with the basic pitch because it was quieter than the side with the park, the views were beautiful and it was private. The slope in this area is quite gentle and nothing that causes a problem. Our tent wasn't quite as taut at one end as a result but it really didn't cause an issue.

We really appreciated how hard all the staff worked to keep the site clean and maintained. The cleaner in the toilet was so thorough and good at what she did that the bathrooms were immaculate, in fact they were the cleanest communal toilets I've used.

The ice block freezer, phone charging point and information section were lovely touches that I appreciated.

Nothing! I'm really fussy and drive my partner mad with my "Victor Meldrew" complaining but I really couldn't find fault with anything. If I was being over particular, I'd have liked less of a sloped pitch but that really is me trying hard to find something to be subjective

What an amazing site! The grass pitches are mown into a wildflower meadow. The pitches are large and well spaced out. The views are amazing and the facilities clean and comfortable.

Lovely site tucked away ,views were very picturesque.well maintained and looked after .will most certainly be returning back with my partner and two young children.

Location, flat pitch, sheltered from wind.

Cleanliness of shower block

We spent four nights at the site in August 2023. Staff were very welcoming and took us straight to our pitch. Pitches are a good size with the majority offering E/C hookup and individual water tap. The site and all its facilities are tremendously clean, staff were constantly cleaning and mowing which makes a real difference. Great to see little add-on’s such as the orchard, bee houses, play area and picnic benches. About 3k from Hay-On-Wye, great walks along the river and plenty to see and do.
