Only around 10 pitches in total with stunning views so feels really peaceful. Excellent facilities, super clean and not too far to walk. Only a 5ish minute drive into Hay on Wye. Insanely good value. The nicest campsite I have ever stayed at!

Toilet blocks were always clean when we went in, and the site owners really thought of everything with the amenities. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the site was in a perfect location. Really beautiful and well kept site, couldn’t have been happier with it.

There was a pleasant aspect but it felt very commercial and there were no eating or coffee/snack areas or activities for adults and older children. The other sites we have stayed at over the years have had a specific draw like a beach or a location near a particular beauty spot with access to a village with some restaurants - if these were present there was no information about them and they weren’t evident from a trip advisor and Google search - the welcome from the reception was great but the site wasn’t for us

We value all feedback, good and bad, and I apologies that our site was not what you thought it would be, our site is by it's description a quiet site, we have never considered things like pools, clubhouse or any other types of adult entertainment, as we assume if our guests want entertainment they will find the myriad of walks, cannoning, fishing, horse riding, sightseeing, shops and restaurants within a few miles of the campsite. We never want to loose a valuable customer, so if you would like to return, I will gather all the tourist information brochures (located near the washrooms) and print off all the activities within the area for you.
