Absolutely amazing site, the owners are lovely, I travelled with 2 children one 6 and one is 2 (my 6 year old was crying not to leave) the site was a ideal size for them to wonder around, all over families all looked out for each of the children, the children all played lovely together, the site was full but definitely didn’t feel it, toilets and showers were nice and modern, they were always clean with plenty of toilet roll etc and never needed to wait for them, we have never been on a site where we are happy for the children to wander around and play with friends like this site, it had such a lovely family feel. The shop on site is a massive bonus they sold everything we needed, my partner also bought lots of meat to bring home as he loved it, the brownies were my favourite. The owners were full of conversation and made us laugh a lot. Brilliant site! We will defiantly be back 10/10 thank you for making us all so welcome

Toliets and showers clean, any feedback was done by the next day (e.g metal bin for hot ashes was suggested on Monday morning and there by the time we left at 11 on the Monday), owners were lovely with a true family vibe, big field for kids to play with fencing around the whole site and down a hill so kids can play freely, really close to Lancaster, Morecambe, the lake District and Yorkshire dales and if you don't know where abouts you want to spend the day the owners will happily tell you local places you can visit which I recommend as they know amazing places

Be aware there is children (mainly young) as it is a family based site so I wouldn't recommend it if you dont like children on the campsite.
