We really enjoyed our short stay. We were made to feel welcome by the owners. We really enjoyed the pizza on our first night, it made life a bit easier so we could relax a bit more.
The campsite was kept clean and tidy with level pitches.

There was nothing we disliked during our stay.

Very relaxed and very welcoming. Can't wait to go again.

Super clean toilets/showers, amazing staff, super friendly owner, great pitches, and even a pizzeria and mini shop on site. Really accommodating with pitch for us given we camped with 2 kids under 2yo so we could be closer to amenities. Nice and chilled camp site with cows and chickens and even a communal gazebo area with tv too 😚 we’ll be back!

Lovely family run campsite. The staff were really accommodating and friendly. The toilet and shower facilities were checked and cleaned regularly. Pitch size was great.

Unfortunately no wi-fi but this made the trip much more enjoyable

What’s not to like. This was our first time camping and even with the bad weather we had at times we loved it! We are a family of five, with children ages 16, 7 and 4. The location was great with easy access from the motorway (M6). The owners were lovely and very welcoming. The toilets, showers, and washing and electric hook up were great. The site felt safe to let the children play. Friday and Saturday night you could have pizza and chicken nuggets and chips which the kids enjoyed. Locally there is a lovely park with a butterfly house/small zoo called Williamson park which is worth a visit. Morecambe is a short drive away for a day out at the beach. We will hopefully visit again soon!

I wouldn’t say dislikes in anyway, more suggestions. The cockerel is let’s say very vocal at 4.30am, the owners did advise us of this but we still pitched next to him as we liked the location. Maybe he needs to go on a holiday. A few guests did say he woke them also who were on the opposite side of the site. Nature is lovely and part of the adventure, and it’s in no way a criticism, just an opinion. The children play area is very small, and if it had more things to do I.e an adventure play ground that would be awesome, but again this just an opinion.

Great set up, really friendly owners, clean showers and toilets. Safe for kids. Pizzas were delicious! We’ll be back 😊

We have camped a lot in different places and have stayed on sites ranging from basic to luxury, this has to be the worst we’ve ever stayed on. It was like camping in a swamp. The kids in our party were told they had to stop playing because it was quiet time even though others were still partying. We are very considerate campers and don’t make noise late at night. We made the most of our weekend and the surrounding areas are beautiful. None of our party will be visiting again or recommending.

It is a small and friendly, family run site. You receive a warm welcome from Lindsay who explains everything you'll need to know. The reception marquee provides a small shop, hot/cold food and drink and a freshly made (to order) wood fired pizzas. The toilet and shower blocks are kept clean & tidy, as too are the dish washing facilities. We would definitely recommend and visit again.

Not a biggy, I just prefer to park my car next to the tent. Here, once you have set up, you are asked to park on the car park to help preserve the grass pitches. Which I understand, and the car park is less than a minutes walk away.
