Location was good for the event I was attending . Easy walk into Longridge which is a nice village with a rural feel .

Very expensive £45 per night out of season . Reception was closed on arrival at 6.00 , nobody about for 15 minutes , only managed to get some attention via a live in member of staff who happened to be passing. Pitches very small with narrow approach which would be difficult to negotiate if the site was full . Most of the hook ups had been pushed over by people trying to get on their pitches. Didn't use the one on my pitch. Drinking water point full of leaves and other debris. Toilet emptying point was awful , because of the design of it, users had obviously missed the emptying point when emptying their cassette... the evidence was still there. As for the toilets in the toilet block , they looked like they hadn't been cleaned for weeks. I only went in to wash my hands .. Overall it felt like a very tired site that needed basic maintenance and cleaning. I've had campers and motorhomes for 30years using all kinds of sites, this is in the top 3 of rubbish sites visited.

Enjoyed the site, highly recommended, we’ve been a couple times now and if we did have any issues was sorted asap, will be back again soon

Only downside was no food available but that’s being sorted soon 👍🏻

The views

There were no toilet paper in any of the men's cubicles, which seems to be a common issue here.

The toilets were not clean.

The swimming pool was not working, which is why we booked this place.

There were kids who I presume live on site in a tourer that were just horrible and feral. Our kids were too scared to play out due to being bullied! Not the kind of people you want to holiday with.

No maps or info given about where the elsan, bins etc are.

Wouldn't stay again.

Jodie and Jason did an amazing job of the entertainment over the Halloween weekend. It was really busy and even though they only had limited staff, they made the weekend amazing for the kids and adults to be fair. You guys work really long hours but you don't let that stop you, my girls had an amazing time so thankyou.

Unfortunately the touring toilet block was not well kept, no toilet rolls hand dryers turned off, wet paper thrown all over, however once spoken to reception this was sorted promptly. Just a shame some kids obviously used the paper to make the mess.

The pool looked nice and the club /bar was nice although difficult to get served as only one person on a very busy bar

Pitches too small even though it stated xL. That was the same opinion of everyone we spoke to on the touring side , we almost ended up in a ditch it was so tight . Wouldn’t stay there again.only one person on the bar even though it was Halloween celebrations , waited ages to get served.plus when checking in it would be very helpful if you were told to go left or right when looking for your pitch , so many people had to try to reverse caravans down a narrow isle to get to the right side , us included

The views were amazing. Really enjoyed our stay. We went for a walk at Beacon Fell County Park (20mins away) that was really good and the teenagers enjoyed it too.

The toilet block wasn't replenished with toilet roll or hand wash. And the hand dryers were switched off. We just took our own toilet roll.

No food, not enough staff, poor toilet facilities,

The staff are super friendly and accommodating, kids loved the evening entertainment and playing in the arcades/soft play area. Pod was basic but exactly what we were expecting, clean and roomy. The swimming pool was good but it definitely needs a bit of attention in there, it smells very bad (sweat and wee) and the water clarity could be better. Not things children care about though, it didn’t bother them one bit. The local area is beautiful and we found ourselves in the centre of longridge for dinner, (there wasn’t anywhere on site for food unfortunately) at The Dog Inn, it was delicious 😋 All around a great stay and would definitely visit again 👍
