Swimming

Toilets weren’t clean, pitches too small, staff were rude at times, the gas ran out behind the bar, wasn’t sign posted well, understaffed, no food or shop on site, the club house was freezing, bingo was expensive, poor hygiene from staff which stunk reception out, rats near toilet block.

Jason,Jodie and jack made my grandchildrens stay here fun and entertaining with the easter activities it also made my time more relaxed and enjoyable well done to there team.we have stayed here numerous time and will continue as for a small team of people to do so much to make people happy as they go keep it up 👍👍👍👍

Only the weather

Great views. Good location

Pitches very small , not level and close together, we saw several caravans struggling to park up. Shower/ toilets block badly maintained with no heat. No where to drop greywaste from motorhome.

Area 2* for the area

Not this best as stated 4* poor pitches we were right next door to the play ground.
Fence what had the electric attached to was falling down and in places laying on the floor.
Toilets were not cleaned while we were there anyway left after 2 days.
Bar was rammed and if the was more then 2 at the bar the poor lads head fell off running round.
Shop not open on site so don’t forget to bring everything including toilet roll.
Ordered of the recommended chippy off site but didn’t turn up !!!

Very tite pitch rats running round ,toilet block filthy ,no loo roll daily. Not enough staff would never go back .

Pitches to small not enough room to maneuver

Staff useless can’t give out simple directions, caravans going the wrong way all the time from their instructions

Evening entertainment bingo is a rip off

The club house tried their best to make it a fun experience. The staff only wanted to help.

Extremely short staffed.
We asked on pitch up to be put with another family but beacon fell view claim to not have received this request and would not accommodate it even though there were two pitches free next to us the whole time.

The pitch was dire. Supposed to be a large gravel pitch but it was muddy and covered in moss. The track to get to the pitch was narrow and many of us had difficulty, particularly if you went down the wrong track. The site was badly signposted, which resulted in having to turn a touring caravan around in such a tight space. The site wasn’t near amenities such as shops or pubs and trying to venture off site to walk was not ideal.

The staff

This place is seriously understaffed,
The staff try their best but over a busy Easter weekend they couldn’t cope. Too many issues to mention.

The swimming pool

The rude staff. The toilets having no toilet rolls and campers being given stacks of rolls to distribute themselves. Almost all drinks on tap were empty/not working. There was rubbish around the site. The camper pitches are very close together.

Location would probably be ok.

Facilities dirty and apparently rarely cleaned, children's play area shabby, understaffed so nobody can leave reception to help, no map of site for tourers, generally made to feel like an inconvenience rather than a customer.
