The swimming pool. Crazy golf, park. Toilets/ showers spotless

Went to go the children's disco on Sunday at 6pm to be told they were closed as they were quiet. We had two disappointed children. We had a family of 3 separate caravans. 6 adults 3 children

The play area right across from our camping pod was perfect for my daughter to go play and make friends with. The pool was a good size and clean. The staff were very friendly a credit to their caravan site . Club house and entertainment was good for the kids and the adults. Wouldn’t say it’s for someone wanting a peaceful holiday .

No running water in the camping pods, even though there is a sink with a tap fitted. When I went to reception thinking it was broken, they said use the communal toilets for water. That they don’t do a water supply to the pods. The tap and sink is basically a waist of space really, as it is cramped enough. Bit inconvenient to go backwards and forwards to wash our hands etc. Also no curtains on back window so had to use a pillow propped up at night and for morning . Check out was at 10am so rushing round to get packed up out on a Sunday morning even though we checked in 4pm the au before , just felt it was all abit rushed .

No shop or food on site (takeouts 5 mins drive away)
Chaos finding a space as all were taken, however staff very helpful and sorted straight away.

Good facilities to keep the teens occupied

No electric when paid for electric pitch - Asked to pitch in any free pitch between 33 and 50. Only one pitch big enough as others had cars parked on empty pitches or pitches over the boundaries. Once we had awning up and everything unpacked we realised the EHU wasn't working. Reported to reception and although we had pitched where told we had parked in a seasonal pitch and had to pay extra to use the EHU. We had already paid for EHU.
Also loos not great, no soap and lack of loo roll.

Men's toilet filthy with excrement on some of the seats. Few toilets blocked. No soap to wash your hands and toilet paper all over the floor.
Touring pitch on a slant with overgrown weeds and no view. Bins are overflowing with rubbish. Site looks dilapidated in lots of areas. Poor value at
£40 per night.

Clean toilets n showers (although the shower cubicles are abit small, n there wasn't any pure hand soap, as it had been watered down so much!)

I don't know where to start really, it was chaos n carnage from arriving to leaving. Paid £50 a night for a large pitch that was so uneven n small we couldn't get our awning up. We moved to a slightly larger pitch next to the one designated, which had no electricity until the electrician came and patched it up. This pitch also only enough room for caravan n awning, no room for car. They squeezed so many caravans into such small pitches, that caravans were almost touching (could hardly open the caravan doors) or parking sideways on grass verges. I believe this to be completely illegal n fire hazardous. The manager actually suggested that two caravans park opposite ways to each other! He also said when challenged by another patron who'd just arrived and couldn't get his caravan onto the tiny pitch alloted, that if you're going to give me that attitude I'm going home, n he went leaving the family to find another pitch n hope that wasn't already booked out! Nothing like the the photos on the website, broken fences n electric being zip tied to dodgy poles n some of these boxes didn't even work, so some caravans had no ehu but paid for it. No WiFi, no phone signal (I'm on O2, but friends we were with were on EE n they had no signal either). I 100% DO NOT recommend this park for Tourers or MHs. They cater more for mobile home tenants or owners.
