Due to being fully booked when you stayed with us, thus a huge demand for hot water which is heated in a large chamber for washing dishes.. We have a notice next to the sink stating that at busy periods a short time lapse is required to give the boiler a chance to reheat the water in the chamber to reheat.
Thank you for pointing out to others reading this that we do not allow camp fires.

I was extremely impressed with the placement. Couldn’t have asked for a better pitch next to the pond. The owner came to chat and showed me around the site. Toilet block was immaculate every time and never had to wait to use it, good hot showers. The wood fired pizza was delicious and delivered to our pitch. We watched the sunset which made some fabulous pictures. Overall peaceful atmosphere. Noise kept to a minimum just what we wanted.

We had an amazing long weekend here at Abbey Green, spacious pitch with gorgeous views of a very special country haven. Thank-you Rose and Philip for being wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble with immaculate clean facilities. We enjoyed a delicious homemade pizza cooked by our hosts and cream tea delivered to our pitch. We sat and ate them in the glorious sunshine. A delight to be around such lovely respectful families who were enjoying camping and caravanning as much as we do. We will certainly be returning again. The surrounding area has so much to see and do. Whitchurch is a lovely town, full of independent shops and plenty of bars and restaurants. Whixall marina which is close by is also picturesque with lots of walks along the canal and local area with a fab cafe too. We had 2 great meals in the nearest pub - The Bull and Dog which was dog friendly inside and out with a sunny beer garden to enjoy the glorious bank holiday weather.

You are absolutely right, all our guests are very respectful of others, enjoying camping and caravanning. We have quiet hours from 10pm- 8am which works well here at Abbey Green Farm.
We are pleased you enjoyed visiting Whitchurch, one of our local towns which has some lovely individual shops and it also has two Michelin star restaurants there too ! (Wild Shropshire and Docket No.33)
As you mention, The Bull and Dog at Coton (2 miles from us) is great and also The Dickin Arms at Loppington serves fantastic food too.
