Ok location, decent pitches

Sorry to say there was nothing we liked about this campsite.

We found the campsite to be very untidy, there were glass beer bottles and other rubbish in the children’s play area. The toilets were unbelievable dirty, we didn’t feel we could have a shower as it was so disgusting. Guests of the park were playing very loud music way past the curfew which was 10pm. One party of guests played music and were extremely loud past 3am!! Nothing was done about this, our young children were subjected to this and so found it hard to sleep. The language used by a large percentage of the camps demographic was awful, certainly not fit for children’s ears. Again nothing was done about this behaviour. Despite the warning on the welcome leaflet, claiming a firm “no tolerance” of such behaviours, this was a nonsensical statement as it appeared anything goes at this campsite. Sadly we would never go back and can’t believe we paid money to stay there.

We had a lovely stay here with our dog! Lovely campsite with lovely views. We will definitely be returning in the near future 🙂

The park, micro brewery shop and pub with access to takeaway hot food were perfect additions to our kids (hence our) overall happiness.
The facilities were great and the location was perfect for Llangollen exploring.
I’d say care has been given to give the place a scenic feel (trellis barriers to shower block and covered pub porch) which I especially loved.

Facilities - no signs so spent ages trying to find the washing up area. Pub was closed and called them repeatedly and no answer. Asked other customers but they didn’t know either - we found it after mooching about.

Toilets - awful. Didn’t use them.

Shower block, the actual shower itself is ok, but again, filthy, no hand towels or driers. No hand soap in some and no sanitary towel bins at all.

Pub very run down and dirty and the toilets were disgusting.

The main field at the front is ok, but we were in the field behind the pub and you have to go past some disused and poorly kept areas. Not nice at all.

I honestly wouldn’t return, nor would I recommend it to anyone l. It’s terrible.

The service wasn’t great, just seemed to be two people running the whole thing. Couldn’t get hold of anyone Saturday morning at 10:15 and even called them a few times.

It’s not worth the £40 a night. Absolute rip off.

The camp site is set in nice surroundings.

Easily accessible walks and Llangollen was less than a 2 mile walk away.

Had the field to ourselves but that was mainly down to weather.

Electric hook up trip a lot even tho I was only running charges and lights.

Toilet facilities could do with updating.

The play area was excellent as could keep an eye on kids, whilst being at the tent.

Could really do with a little TLC in a lot of areas. Also, really took time to get a smile out some of the staff. We did get there in the end tho 😊

Well there was people drinking and playing loud music and being noisey, must of had the music on the loudest volume that the speaker or whatever they had could take that was well after 11pm. There was no warden or anything walking around to keep the noise levels down. The main road was quite loud to but it was more of the other quests that were the problem. The toilets was manky, never been cleaned. There was a sign up saying we have no toilet roll because somebody stole a roll. So they decided on not to replace it? I didn't dare step in the showers. Pub was run down and was a bit smelly so we chose not to eat or drink in there. Sorry 😔 if the toilets and pub was refurbished and someone come round of a night to say keep the noise down after 11 this place has great potential

Was lovely perfect for us . Seen reviews about the shower blocks being bad this wasn’t the case at all they were all lovely and clean
