Nothing about this site. Worst we have ever been too and only booked because abbey farm was full, heard the woman on the next pitch to us saying the same on her phone. Grass needs cutting. Waste point disgusting

Scruffy dump, run down and dirty, with a pub which we thought we would try out. ordered 2 pints and after the barmaid pulled 2 pints of water through then a cloudy pint which we said we didn’t want, we paid £9 for 2 bottles of beer, when we said they are warm she shrugged her shoulders and said I don’t think there’s anything you will like here. Abbey farm across the road is so much nicer, CHEEPER and the pub serves good food and drinks, people were actually leaving beers and going over the road to abbey farm. unfortunately they were fully booked at abbey farm as madness were on at the pavilion. Avoid this sight

Beers from onsite shop were good.
Electric hook up was reliable and no issues with tripping.

Overall lower standard than other sites at which we have paid less for our stay.
Not sure if it is linked to the pub and play area onsite but the campsite did seem to attract a louder clientele than others we have stayed at.
Facilities were basic and could have been cleaner but were adequate for a short stay.
Shower rooms could do with a little table or similar were you can put your toiletries etc.
Washing up area is outdoors and we thought a basic canopy over it would be useful if not possible to fully enclose.

This campsite was way overpriced and pretty poor. No signs for reception, loos, showers, water points. Miserable lady on 'reception' which was basically in the pub. A dog relentlessly barking all evening and off the lead roaming around. Nobody did anything about it. Toilets and showers were basically in a shipping container type set up. Not particularly dirty but I didn't want to use them. I paid £31 for myself and my little dog for one night- the most I have ever paid for camping. The worst site I have ever stayed at. After speaking to another couple in llangollen, it is an easy mistake to book into Abbey Grange camp site rather than the lovely looking site on the other side of the road which is called Abbey Farm. The camping was right next to the busy main road which was obviously noisy and potentially very dangerous place to camp if there was a rta as there was just a small hedge separating road from camping.

Showers and toilets definitely need updating, and the pub on site apparently “doesn’t do just coffee” which seems like a missed opportunity to me!

Dogs of leads coming over to my dog drinking and music tell 2 in the morning right next to a busy road under a tree and floor was very uneven wouldn’t go back

The views are lovely. A family place for camping, a little park for the children, just so relaxing and chilling on the site. Llangollen town 2 mins away in the car which we love, river dee, park plenty of food choices and shops.

Nothing really to be honest, toilets and showers were clean when we used them. It is what it is in the camping 🏕 scene.

Fantastic location both for walks and proximity to town centre. Really good park on site for the kids and nice bar with great outdoor seating. Toilets and showers clean and in good working order.
