Polite, friendly atmosphere. Located away from the road with spacious pitches and with a wide range of walks located either near or on site, one of which along the local river. Facilities were clean. Will be recommending it to family and friends.

Would be good to have an outdoor sink to clean your dishes if ur in a tent, some people have left knives and forks by the water taps where they have cleaned the dishes

If u go to the toilet at night the light is on a sensor and it’s dark so if ur in there for a while it will go off haha

Easy access, chilled vibe and idyllic setting. If you like Puzzlewood, you’ll love Tan Aeldroch. This is a very special place ❤️

When the lower field is closed a sign on the main gate would also be helpful to avoid unnecessary disturbance of other campers

Stayed here as a child over 20 years ago and pleased to say that it was exactly as I remembered it, completely magical. Very basic camping facilities so you feel like you're actually camping. Lovely to hear the river while you sleep, and not a peep from other campers!

It was a bit smokey due to the number of firepits and lack of wind.

Beautiful location and peaceful, respectful campsite. We will definitely return!

Loved the atmosphere, the river and the views. Really enjoyed using the fire pit and feeling left alone to our devices, nobody bothering us.

Need an extra drinking water tap and we're looking forward to the shower block being completed.

No showers is the only one really

Scenery stunning. River access. Ground muddy in parts so just stayed on the hardcore. Close to town. Very rustic toilets but cleaned well. And no music very peaceful and quiet. Phone signal is weirdly amazing.

Might benefit from a small play area.
