Over the last couple of years all campsites we've visited had disinfectant you could use in the showers, this year that seems to have been phased out, so i was really happy to see this was still available at this site, and the showers were immaculate probably due to this. Owner was really friendly and approachable. Quiet area. Pitches were massive, plenty of space between us and neighbours.

He text back that terms and conditions state latest check in was 6.00pm. This meant we had cut our visit short and really rushed, with our caravan to get there on time. We made it for 6.05pm. We thought the inflexibility might be because the owners aren't on site after 6.00pm but they live in a caravan on site and weren't going anywhere. We had a long journey from Eden Project and had to drive much faster than we normally would with the caravan in tow. The owner showed is around but I was not happy about him being so inflexible when I had explained the reasons.

its actually in your booking conditions that arrivals no later than 6pm...as are many campsites with a few we know that wouldn't have let you on...there are a lot of reasons for this. .so really shouldn't be an issue with yourselves - you booked on 30th May so had plenty of time to arrange ..,,,.. you didn't text us at all - we text you to ask for an eta of which you then decided - your visit was cut short by approx 30 minutes ...your words...
we are hardly inflexible as you were knocking our door at 10.30pm because there was a fault with your electrics - NOT OUR electrics and we offered to boil kettle for you etc .....my husband being soooooo horrible even offered to electrical test your caravan at 10.30pm, then 8am next morning back to the door asking questions which we gave you the answers with no problem ................... hardly bad customer services.
you then hated it so much you asked to stay an extra night of which we accommodated you .
find it very sad that you feel that way, but if you had contacted prior to 2pm on the day, we may well have accommodated you coming in later..
so glad the rest of our lovely campers aren't the same
