we had a great time at St Ives bay beautiful scenery, toliets and showers cleaned regulary. great entertainment for the kids in the evennings great indoor poll. 10 min walk for the beach.

Location and upkeep of external areas.
Hot showers were surprisingly very hot! Which after a long day on the beautiful beach nearby, was very welcome!
A real plus was the short walk (2 minutes) to the beach from our tent. Nothing like an early morning sea swim to wake yourself up!

Sadly the toilets, showers and 'wash-up' facilities were poorly looked after and in need of modernising. Not all of the blocks were the same, just the block nearest the beach. Very basic facilities.
As seasoned campers, we're used to living on basics, however this dropped below that standard slightly.

Easy to book. Kept up to date with payment reminders, etc. Good facilities, pool. Could rent body boards for £10 for the day for the kids which was great.

Wish we had been advised that our Pod was probably suitable for a max age of 10. Ours are 13 and 16 and we made it work for four days but probably couldn't have done any longer. Restaurant prices were astronomical. Showered kept burning or freezing you.

Amazing site very beautiful load to do

Easy check in. Arrived at around 19:20 and in our accommodation by 19:30. Liked being able to swim without booking and having beach access from the site. Be aware the beach access is very steep and coming back up is an effort. Our shower broke and the maintenance came out and fixed within 30 mins. Stayed in a comfort chalet which had all the amenities we could wish for. Parking outside our chalet but this was often used by other guests in the evening who wanted to park closer to the entertainment. We used the site as our base, so only ventured into the evening entertainment once. We played bingo which was quite pricey but good fun. Overall, great location and would stay again if the price was right, however there are other sites more reasonable for the quality of the accommodation.

Being able to get on site so easily without having to give any information to prove we were staying on site. Children’s entertainment went on until 10pm which was a bit late for us, even though I had a 7 year old with us, he would’ve liked the disco, but we left before that had started. Swimming shower blocks were dirty. Three young female lifeguards on duty paid no attention to swimmers and were joking around on walkie talkies the whole session.
Wifi non existent.

The beach is the only positive I can write about.

Turned up at guest services to be told to ‘find your pre-booked pitch, there should be one spare’, we asked ‘well what if people have gone out and there’s a few spare and we go into someone else’s’ he replied “well people usually leave something outside”.
We found the park to be very noisy at night, and on one particular night at 1:15am, we woke to the sound of screaming and drama, and were nervous to actually go out and see what was going on!
It’s a good 20 mins into St Ives itself despite looking close on a map.
We left a day earlier than planned.

Good location as it as access to the beach which is beautiful. This saves travelling to other beaches and paying for parking. Lidil is only about 2 miles away so perfect to get the bbq and other food. Campsite also as an on site shop which is good. Free access to the onsite pool which is good as some other sites ask for payment. Good entertainment on a evening with a variety starting with mini disco then bingo and a live entertainer.

Toilets and showers was poor for the tent and caravans. Cleaning of them was poor and I didn't like that it was a male doing the ladies. They are ready for a refurbishment. Food in the cafe was expensive about £15 each for a main meal. Drinks also expensive 2 pints and 3 j2os just under £25. The price of the pitch as doubled in price since been taken over by away resorts.
