Great Location close to st Ives. The beach is in walking distance from tent and very peaceful. The facilities were exceptional and well kept. Lovely and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to help up choose a good pitch. Would definitely come back perfect couple get away.

We loved it here, really spacious pitches easy hook up. So close to the beach which is incredible. We loved the entertainment every night.

The man in the shop was rude. Told our 11 year old she was a ‘silly girl’ also on a different occasion told us to move out the way. No manners!

Sadly the showers got grubby, but this wasn’t down to them not being cleaned. If was just down to the sand and mud people walked in

Schöner Stellplatz direkt hinter den Dünen mit breitem Sandstrand am Meer. Wellen für das Surferglück, Hallenbad und großes Entertainementprogramm mit leckerem Bistro.

Toiletten und Duschen nicht sehr gepflegt, aber auch hoher Durchfluss aufgrund der Menge der Nutzer.
Licht über den Stromverteilern lässt das Zelt nachts leider erleuchten.

The pitch we were on, which was right next to the toilets and garbage containers. Very busy al day long.

Man darf sich seinen Platz selber auswählen und wir hatten Glück, dass wir ganz am Ende der Reihe mit Blick über Dünen und Meer standen. Der Trinkwasseranschluss und Abwasser waren für uns sehr nah.
Der Strand und die Dünen sind traumhaft und ganz toll zum Wandern mit Hund.
Der kostenlose Swimmingpool ist ebenfalls klasse!

Die Sanitäranlagen sind rudimentär, aber wenigstens kostenlos und sauber.
Es besteht die Möglichkeit Wäsche zu waschen, allerdings ist die Beschilderung schlecht, dass man nicht mit normalen Münzen bezahlen kann, sondern extra zur Rezeption muss, um sich spezielle Marken zu holen. Leider benötigt man dann mehr für den Trockner, als man annimmt und dann ist die Rezeption vielleicht schon geschlossen. Es wäre gut, wenn man die Marken an einem Automaten in der Waschküche tauschen könnte (oder direkt mit Münzen bezahlen könnte, was auf anderen Campingplätzen fast überall möglich ist).

Der Campingplatz ist sehr groß, dementsprechend viel los.

Level pitches The fact we were lucky enough to get one. The site sorted the cock up of site location who had no records or welcome pack for us but still managed to fit us in.

We booked for st Ives bay Hayle Cornwall which I had confirmation of by email with correct address and post code. When We arrived there was no booking! It was suggested we had booked the wrong site. We had no welcome pack and a lot of confusion and stress! Lucky We convinced the site we had payed and booked correctly showing my confirmation email with correct post cod! The fitted is on luckily whilst they investigated the problem.I was told our booking was cancelled. Which was not the case!!’I was receiving constant phone calls regarding this whilst putting up our tent. Then I had a call asking when we were going to arrive! I said we are already here! Then after much confusion I discovered the call was from Weymouth in Dorset!! So I had been re booked hundreds of miles away not even In Cornwall. Even the away resorts app I downloaded was wrong as it was for a site in Dorset hence the reason I was struggling to find anything that made sense on the site map Pretty much a total booking cock up that was not my fault and I think we should of received a unwelcome pack as that’s how it felt to be honest other than that the site was good enough and we did have good weather which helped my mood.

Excellent access to the beach, friendly staff and a good range of activities.
While we were there the surf was great for body boarding.
Easy access to a bus stop that takes you into St Ives in around 30 mins.

We almost didn’t get a pitch even when pre booking. Luckily someone was leaving early so we managed to get their pitch.

Firstly the stay was great the toilets and shower blocks were very clean and the pitch up bay was a good size for a big tent.

We went with are friends and on booking the pitches it said to put a note to say we want to have are pitch’s next to each other. When we arrived that wasn’t the case as we was told we had to pick are own pitch. It was busy so we couldn’t be by each other

Booking states arrival 14:00hrs...we got there slightly early at 13:00hrs. This was where we were explained the system of non-allocated pitches but find yourself a spot. After driving around we struggled to find a spot and eventually squeezing into a spot that was basically hard grassless and no view what so ever. Nothing at all like the sites photos.
Equally noticing other Campers either spread across pitches or parked cars hogging space.
Showers were constantly dirty and observation noticing young lad who appears to be a cleaner more interested in his mobile than standards.
Music loudly played constantly into the night.
Access to the beach is extremely poor with dilapidated steps and banisters.
