Location was amazing and indoor pool is great, include flukes and rapids. The kids loved it. Croyde beach is a short walk away and beautiful beach with excellent surf. Evenind dj was great

Facilities are quite tired and there arnt enough showers and sinks to accommodate the number of campers.

Liked the fact the pitches are big and the site is close to the beach.

Shower block (croyde burrows) had awful showers. The water was a dribble and had to keep pressing it as only got about 3 seconds of water. Not a good shower to wash away the salt and sand. I also thought the toilets could do with being checked/cleaned more often.
The on site shop was very expensive.
Also disliked the lack of recycling facilities/bins.

Location was great, pretty much straight on the beach.

The facilities weren't good at all, the toilets didn't seem to be cleaned that regularly as there was often toilet roll everywhere and the sinks and floors were dirty. Loads of the locks on the toilets were broken as well so that was really annoying. The shower block was usually pretty dirty and the drains were disgusting and smelt really bad, again hardly any of the locks worked in here either. No option the change the shower temp and hairdryers were pretty rubbish too (not that big of an issue but still). There was just a general feeling of the site being quite run down for the camping facilities. Also it said no groups but this is not enforced as there were loads of groups including one of 25 on pitches very close to ours!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ruda at Croyde. Great on site facilities, staff were great, showers and toilet blocks clean and tidy.
We will head back for sure.

WE WERE NOT INFORMED THAT WE WOULDEXPERIENCE DISRUPTION THE ENTIRE WEEK DUE TO OCEANFEST MUSICAL EVENT.
The Italian was closed, the toilets/showers were dirty.
There was never a clean table in the restaurant possibly due to a noticeable lack of staff.
The guests in the next pitch were smoking cannabis!!

Stayed only one nigh. Good level pitch with plenty of space around for awning etc. Good facilities near by and site shop etc. Very close to the Beach.

Beautiful location, very close to the beach and lovely scenic views in every direction. Our older kids liked the little arcade and our toddler enjoyed the soft play area. Swimming pool was nice, toddler loved all the slides. Shop, places to eat and laundrette all nice, clean and convenient, and toilets/showers etc were kept clean and well lit.

Flume at the pool was closed on both occasions that we visited. We stayed in the Bray pitching field, which was lovely but there were some very inconsiderate people, very loud talking until the early hours on a couple of the nights from different parties. Not sure if there is a noise curfew there but nobody seemed to care. Similarly but maybe not to be helped, the seagulls/crows were also very inconsiderate and had us up thoughout the night! They swarmed around in the day and made a beeline for anyone that had food or had left out rubbish, making a massive mess. Joking aside, we had relatives staying across the road in Croyde Burrows and in comparison it was much more peaceful and quiet. Not sure if anything could be done about that but it did cause us sleep issues and we were very wary sitting outside with food!

Staff helpful, facilities clean and soooo close to the beach. Perfect!
