Clean site toilets park

Manager was very rude to must of the people. Club was outdated no wifi signal was terriable only entertainment was on saturday which was karaoke. A lady got over charged with her drink and bar staff spoken to the lady very rude.pool needs a refurb i will not be returning

Wonderful break, great facilities, good entertainment at weekend. Pool was great, yes it's not a jacuzzi but it's warm enough to have fun in not freezing at all as other reviews have said. Pod is very comfortable and everyone extremely friendly. Dogs been very welcome too. Also bar prices are very reasonable 😀

Only didn't put 5 as there wasn't a warning about the restaurant being closed and would have brought something extra to cater for ourselves had we known.

Everything we had such a brilliant time, the host was friendly and welcoming. The toilet facilities were excellent and clean. There was a pub on site that had a great atmosphere. The pool although was chilly was lovely in the heat we had I found it refreshing lol ;)

The surrounding area was beautiful, we had some ace walks along the river.

Nothing really it was as described

My wife and I arrived just after 15:30 to check in and was shown where to go by the lovely groundsman who instantly stopped what he was doing and came to help us. Very nice man. We then meet the owner Phil who again was very pleasant and checked us in and showed us around the site, he then went about his afternoon leaving us to enjoy this beautiful site. After settling in my wife and I took a stroll down the beautiful river which was full of wildlife to enjoy. The site was very clean and well looked after the grass was cut, the hedges trimmed back and the facilities was also very clean. My wife and I stayed in a pod with fold down bed which was simple enough to use as the instructions are on the wall. It had a fridge, a kettle and a couple of mugs. There was a camping table and two chairs. All was clean and completely usable. The bed required bedding to brought by ourselves to we preferred. We park our car next to the pod and had no trouble with access.
At 18:00 the bar opens and it is happy hour between 18:00 and 19:00.
The has a pool table and the bar lady was also very happy. The bar had a local pub kinda feeling and a good choice of drinks. Upon leaving we had no trouble finding our way back to the pod as the site is very well lit and nice and flat.
We enjoyed our stay and thanked the owner as we left and promised to return if we were again in the area.

No dislikes.

The pool is freezing

The campsite was lovely and quiet when we first arrived. Absolute bliss. The man in reception was really friendly and very informative. The location was perfect for fishing on the river bank and watching the fighter jets fly overhead which was great. We visited a quiet beach near Skegness, one day, which was only an hours drive away. The site had a swimming pool, which was cold but not too cold that you couldn't enjoy. It was nice and refreshing. There was a gym on site too. We never visited the pub on site as it's not really our thing so can't comment on that. The other staff we saw, were nice and friendly too. The toilet facilities were clean and decorated nicely. Will definitely be booking again as so much to do and see. Great for walking.

The camping pods on site made it feel a bit cramped and when more people arrived it got a bit busy and noisy but it was mainly from children playing around the units and having fun, which is what it's all about.

The fishing was great but if you're just taking deckchairs down to sit on, the pegs aren't flat and it's a bit uncomfortable to sit for a while. Levelling the pegs out would make it so much more enjoyable.

I didn't know there was wi-fi on-site. I looked to see what was available on my mobile, but nothing came up so assumed that it wasn't available.
