Location was great , wild and natural surroundings. Near the river and many birds and animals.
Toilet facilities were good and very clean.
Owners were very friendly and helpful.
Had a great couple of days there.
Will book for longer next time.

Nothing to dislike, it was a walk from the carpark to the pitch but that is to be expected with wild camping pitch.

We stayed in a beautifully private pitch… surrounded by forest.
We were woken by the birds in the trees and two chickens who came for breakfast!
Is ideally situated for easy access to the estuary and cycle path.
Highly recommend this site… as near to wild camping but with clean shower blocks 😊

Second visit to this lovely site and it wont be our last.
Stunning location with views of Cadre Idris and handy for Dolgellau.
Friendly hosts.
Lots of places to walk the dogs.
Toilet and shower facilities have improved significantly since our last stay in 2021.
Great wild camping experience.
Make sure you take the walk along the estuary to the George III pub!

Incredible site cut off from everything, beautiful forest pitches and amazing views from the estuary, couldn't recommend enough.

The area of the site we stayed in is all woodland, the pitches are secluded and not close to other pitches. The staff are really helpful and friendly. There are lots of walks in the area and places to visit. The site has an air of tranquility and peacefulness. The Thai meal delivered to our tent was excellent. The showers and toilets are simple but more than adequate and were clean. Totally wonderful place.

Walk to and from the car with the kit, but that's because I am not as fit as I should be.

Nice woodlands, nice in the evening as the trees provide intimacy. Can have a camp fire. Children loved it.

Loved its seclusion and quietness. Pitches were large and spaced far apart. Great walks from the site along the mawddach coastal path into Dolgellau and Barmouth. Breathtaking scenery. Great hosts as well.

Scenic and quiet location teeming with wildlife. Easy access to footpaths into woodlands which is great for walking with the dog. Facilities are basic but generally good; showers are excellent. Staff are very welcoming and willing to help.

Bit of a trek up a steep hill from the camping meadow to the toilet block and facilities which gets a bit tedious.

Liked everything , the site kept its natural surroundings while provide facilities required for an excellent wild camping adventure. The walks and location are wonderful. The added bonus to treat ourselves was the lovely Thai food available which is brought to your location.
Enjoyed so much booked extra night as didn't want to leave.
