Secluded woodland pitch. Could not hear any traffic/other campers. Really felt like we were the only ones in the area it was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely owners, amazing site, lots to do in the area.
Also zero phone signal! Not a problem for us as it added to the remote/cut off feeling.

Only minor downside was theres only 3 shower cubicles and not much space for getting changed/dried off. But this is really minor, I had a shower each day qnd the watet was always hot

Listened to our request to be as far away from other pitched that have dogs as possible.

Very nice location with beautiful views

Didn’t trim down the foliage to our pitch so we got loads of splinters on our hands.

The staff pretty much never spoke to us or welcomed us at all.

Not many other guests listened to the rules of the campsite (dogs to be on lead at all times) and these rules were not enforced.

No prices in the shop so the helpers have to WhatsApp each other for prices.

No bins on site so have to take home bags of food waste and dog poo in the car.

Even though we had a car with roof tent ,we had an awning and pop up toilet etc, hard to pin into the hard slate ,difficult to walk on too.

Beautiful well maintained site with ample secluded spaces for all in the woodland pitches. Adrian very knowledgeable about the site, it's history and local things to do. Little shop well stocked for those things you always forget! Will definitely be back 😁

Very tranquil and out of the way of everything. Lovely little walkways to get to your pitch with great views all around. Do the walk to Barmouth if you have time, it’s worth the walk 😃

I visited this site with my grown-up daughter in our new (ish) campervan. We didn't really want to be a field with a load of caravans, so looked for something a bit different. We both absolutely loved this place! It was pretty, super-handy for the estuary bike trail, and the staff were so helpful and friendly.
We stayed in a woodland pitch which was perfect for our little transporter. We had enough space to sit outside but felt tucked away in the woods. The facilities were simple but perfect for us, and with great showers.
Unfortunately we missed the option of Thai food as the chef was ill, but we're planning to visit again soon.

Lovely site. Very pretty forest space. Clean toilets and showers.

Field pitches are a fair distance from the facilities (I knew this before booking as I've been before, but worth noting if people haven't) and unfortunately during my stay there was a very loud group of scouts shouting and screaming until we'll past midnight. The forest pitches looked lovely and quiet though, so will try one of those next time.

Outstanding location, friendly staff, decent sized, levelled pitches and incredibly peaceful. A short walk to the Mawddach Estuary for some swimming and more stunning views of what is probably the most beautiful stretch of water in Wales. Quite a claim but honestly hard to refute. It was exactly what I expected and more.I have no complaints or reservations in recommending this campsite. One of the best I ever stayed at.
