The site was perfect for what we wanted. Not too big, toilets / shower block facilities were fantastic. The owners Jennifer and Gareth were so lovely and welcoming and helpful. Staff member Katy also keeps the facilities looking great and clean, and was also helpful. The May fete was on at the site when we stayed which was lovely to be part of. Felt part of a community. Fishing lakes were fab, partner enjoyed the fishing. Nice and peaceful. Will definitely go back again

Nothing really to dislike. If I had to say anything…Didn’t realise it was half term until after we had booked so lots of children having their holidays. Prefer a bit more of an adult only stay so will be aware next time we book! There is no wifi so had to use hot spot off phone for smart TV. Wasn’t always best signal

Beautiful site, well maintained all staff were very welcoming, friendly & helpful.
The fishing lakes were beautiful & lovely to stroll around. We also visited Blue Anchor Beach which is a dog friend beach nearby & has a lovely stretch of sand for the dogs to run on. Prior to the weekend we had a email to advise there would be an event on at the weekend with music, food trucks & a fete on Sunday. It was a well organised event & finished at a reasonable time (9/10pm).

We would like to add that the grounds and lakes were beautiful. Well kept but really natural. We so enjoyed wandering around the grounds with our dogs.

Loved the relaxed and beautiful atmosphere. Nice walks and sitting by the lake. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. The yurts were very well equipped, with lovely interior, very cosy and clean. Kids enjoyed the games room!

The glamping pod was a nice size for the two of us, loved being right by the lakes to sit in the evening, the fire pit was lovely, and it was nice and quiet and peaceful, the bathrooms were clean and the owners were friendly

Our recent camping trip at this lakeside spot was absolutely wonderful! The seting is simply beautiful, with vibrant green grass and mature trees providing plenty of shade and a real sense of being surrounded by nature. One of the highlights for us was being able to use our own fire pit perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars. The campsite also thoughtfully provides off-grid water and excellent shower and toilet facilities, which were well-maintained and with pleasant hot water. The convenience ofa campsite shop with delicious homemade food was a real treat, and its location being so close to the beach made it an ideal base for exploring. We highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped outdoor getaway.

Beautifully kept site with every facility you could want. The grounds are very attractive with fishing lakes. Useful little shop which sells the basics and some frozen meals. Games room with books/dvd’s, kettle, fridge etc. Friendly owners. Clean toilets and showers.

So clean, tidy and extremely nice camp site. friendly reception and owners. everything is near by well thought out and planned. Great for friendly dogs and people.
